Damn, sad to hear. Article says area he was scouting had 182 homicide cases in July alone.

Just got into this show recently - finished the first 2 seasons and thought they were amazing - had no idea Escobar was that huge of a scumbag as well.

Will have to rewatch the first episode of season 3 as I was a bit tired and wasn't paying attention. I do love the line from the last episode in season 2 "Pablo said you would be more than understaning" "How much you got left Tata because I want it all".

One of the few Netflix series that has stayed strong throughout its run so far.

Wrapped up S2 last night and it was fantastic. I knew where they'd go for S3 but wasn't sure how it'd be received... without spoilers, reads like you all loved it. I thought Pablo was excellent in every scene he was in last season. He was a fascinating person although I have almost no recollection of his exploits during the 90's.
