His crappy construction is why the blade is jagged, not why there are crossguards.

I thought the crossguards weren't actually little saber blades, but just venting gas. So they wouldn't actually be able to cut through anything. That's what I remember reading somewhere, at least.

I've watched some bits of this show over time. Still not really impressed some actual good episodes but continuity wise... how is this one canon based on what we got w/ SW? In that film it pretty much seemed like nothing really Jedi related happened till Luke and Kenobi came in since the Empire came into place.

Old Master looks a lot like Maul...

Again... I know he survived and all that..but how does Old Master look like Maul? There's not much to see of him.

it's dark but if you look closely he has the same (or similar) facial markings and overall same facial features as Maul.

Probably about fifteen. In the same ballpark as Ezra, though I'd put him around thirteen.

I really dislike the Ezra character (but my son digs him)... but it would be cool to see him as an actual character in Rogue One or Episode VIII

I was sort of hoping Max von Sydow was playing an old Kanan in The Force Awakens.

Me too. I really don't see why he wasn't. I don't think it would have made much difference in the grand scheme of things, but it would have been cool for the fans.

I really liked Season 1...I'm not enjoying Season 2 very much. Too many "guest stars" (i.e., bringing in characters from The Clone Wars and the Original Trilogy) and not much of an 'arc' to the overall storyline this year.

They did this some in Season 1 too, of course, but it seems like every episode is doing it this season.

I doubt we will see any of the Rebels in the movies until the show is over. The Rebels writers will have their hands tied with the fate of that character then. If Ezra is in Rouge One, then we know that no matter what trouble he gets into, he'll live because we know he lives until Rouge one. Same with Kanan being in Force Awakens.

unrelated, looking at all the Star Wars toys out there they really marketed the hell out of the Inquisitor with the Rebels toy line only to have killed him off fairly quickly... wonder why?

Cool episode tonight. Very mystical and trippy. The music used towards the end seemed different from usual SW stuff, but I felt it worked really well.

Do we know he's dead? (I mean, if Maul can come back...). Also there are more Inquisitors and Darth Vader, I'm pretty sure they can market that as well.
