Huh? Ther was almost an Aliens cartoon?
Just found out about this a couple days ago when I saw an auction for an Operation: Aliens board game. Apparently, this was in development in the early 90's and the classic Kenner toy line was based on it. It was cancelled though but not before a few pieces of merchandise escaped into the wild. They tried to put it on the Alien:Anthology Blu but the pilot has apparently disappeared. Oh what might have been.

This getting aborted is probably the best thing that ever happened since the solar system accreted.
You saw what happened to Star Wars, after Empire, when they realized toys were more lucrative than the films themselves, right? Regardless of the semi weak sequels, we were still never subjected to the Ewoks and Jar Jar analogs of the Alien franchise. *expletive deleted*!!!
