CNN) -- Actor Tracy Morgan was in critical condition after he was injured in a six-car accident early Saturday in New Jersey, authorities said.
The wreck killed at least one person, said Sgt. Gregory William of New Jersey State Police.
Morgan, a "Saturday Night Live" cast member, also stars on NBC's hit sitcom "30 Rock."

30 Rock star Tracy Morgan is in intensive care following a serious crash on the New Jersey Turnpike north of Trenton, state police confirm.
The comedian's tour bus was one of the six vehicles impacted when the driver of a tractor-trailer came upon slow-moving traffic in the northbound lanes at Exit 7A near Cranbury Township and was unable to stop in time, state police told Philadelphia's NBC10.
Morgan, 45, was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick, as confirmed by a hospital spokesperson. Police say one of the passengers from his bus died; three others were critically injured and one is listed as being in fair condition.
Accident investigation and cleanup kept that section of the road closed until 6:30 a.m.
Morgan was scheduled to perform at a casino in Dover, Del., Friday night.

All I've heard about his specific condition is that he incurred "head injuries" which is obviously not good. Glad to hear that he's getting looked after. Really unfortunate, sad, and fucked up how random something like that happens to someone. As the song goes, "Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think"

I have to say when I saw he was in life threatening status, I was not expecting to hear it was resulting from a vehicle accident as a passenger. Life is strange. Heal up quick, Astronaut Jones. There are plenty more green titties out there for you.
