Yeah the commercials are bizarre. It almost makes me wonder if this is sort of a long play and ultimately the decide to let in everyone for some reason maybe as a Super Bowl ad.

^ I’ll occasionally watch Cartoon Network at night before I go to bed and they play A LOT of Medicare commercials (literally at least one per commercial break). I’m not sure if they’re the same company but it’s Joe Namath or Jimmy “JJ” Walker doing the commercials instead if Shatner.

I always think Adult Swim is an odd channel/time to be playing senior citizen ads.

I remember seeing this on Comedy Central late at night when they show South Park re-runs, and I thought it was a parody. Actually took me a couple of weeks to figure out that, yes, this was a real commercial for an actual product you can order.

That Grand Wagoneer one where they have to explain why the flag is faced the way it is on the side of the truck. Ironic since the audience they're trying to sell to should already know exactly why the flag is faced the way it is without the explanation.

I don't hate this commercial, but I've seen it twice in less than an hour this morning, and I'm confused by it.

It's a commercial for Planet Fitness with a generic chubby white guy and a generic chubby black guy, but then it ends with what appears to be the ghost of Dennis Rodman leaving the PF.

Can't find a link to the video, but the Best Buy Totaltech one is annoying. First, apparently this young lady is the go-to for tech issues in her neighborhood and family, but instead decides to lead them to Best Buy tech support site, which calls into question her intelligence right there . Besides that, the one that is more perplexing is a neighbor with a fridge that had been delivered and sitting in her doorway. She proudly exclaims she got a refrigerator and the young lady responds that it needs to be installed. Um...

Just to fit the thread and kick this off... drug ads. You know, "ask your doctor about..." and then they list 10 side effects worse than the original problem.

My family and I watch all manner of shows on various services (like most) and we have a running thing about all the drug ads. They are just rampant on every service, every commercial break, everywhere they can fit them in. Thing is, they have seemingly vanished in the last week to 10 days. Don't get me wrong, I don't miss them (I think they should be illegal), but did a law get passed banning them? It's almost bizarre it is without those commercials every break.
