So how many bodies are gonna end up in that pit?
Caleb sure is a good shot.
Good to see Max Theroit getting the lead in that History channel show. I've felt like his work has been underrated on BM because Vera and Freddy shine so bright. Someone obviously noticed. I thought he was toast.
That conversation with Norma and Norman was... weird. Then they managed to out creep that scene with the basement scene.
I was wondering when Nicola would show up. I'd heard she was supposed to return.

I was worried during the scene where Emma dumps Norman that he'd lose it and push her in. It definitely seems like something is going to happen to someone involving it.
Good overall episode this week I'd say. I figured something would happen during the gun run. It sort of seemed like the series was setting up Caleb to die but I guess that's not in the cards yet. Dylan has become one of my favorite characters this season. He seems like the hero and who I want to root for. Things with him and Emma are definitely heating up and it seems like something will happen to one of them soon.
The stuff with James getting tortured and revealing what Norma told him about Norman will be interesting to see play out. More people know their secrets now and it seems like a matter of time before stuff starts falling apart. I liked both scenes with Norma and Norman even though the one where he told her that he thought he was attracted to her was really awkward. I'm curious to see what Bradley is back for and if her character will only be around short term or if she's coming back to the series.

This was a darkly comic episode at times. I was laughing out loud as Norma was bitching in her voicemail about that shrink as he came home brutalized due to her.
She has to be the most self-absorbed character on television. I thought for a moment they might push the envelope with Norman but I guess not.

I wonder is Bradley is really back or if she is in Norman's head. I guess we will see. I kind of hope it is in her head, because I really haven't missed her much.
It was nice to see Romero & Norma happy for about one second until it all went to hell. Sigh.

Well, that had to the most cringe-inducing mother-son conversation ever.

BATES MOTEL has been fantastic the last three or four episodes. It really turned the corner mid-season and became one of the best shows currently on TV. If BOTH Vera and Freddie don't get Emmy nods, it will be a crime.

I wonder what are the ratings for Bates Motel? I hope they are strong.

Norman's imaginary dog runs off, Norman chases it down the road. He comes to a car sitting in the road, door open, driver facing away from the camera. The driver turns, it's Nicola Peltz, who says "Norman?"

funny how the original Psycho really paints the mother as a monster... I always envisioned that she was the predator towards Norman... unless something changes drastically, her ultimate demise will be quite tragic.
