That was sweet. This show is so much better than Arrow. To the point where I only care about watching this, not Arrow. Will be interesting to see what happens now.

I read a few stories leading up to yesterday's episode that said they have a crazy twist for viewers for the season finale. I don't think it's going to be that easy to figure what the hell is going on.

the only thing I hate about the flash is that god damn same speech opening. I'm so tired of hearing it already over and over again.

That and the fact that I've instituted the Gemma Skip (thank you Sons of Anarchy) where I hit the 30-second skip button every time Iris opens her mouth. I know it's a mandated part of every CW show but I just don't care about their cute relationship struggles.

Awww. Don't be so hard on Iris. Without her where would the Flash babies come from?

What name did Wells give Cisco? I couldn't make it out.

Eobard Thawne. Eddie Thawne is his distant relative.

Fucking fantastic  The show is pretty much everything I wanted it to be, given the expectations of episodic television.

Yes. Cavanagh is so dam good in that role that I could care less about some type of twist.

As for the episode, yeah they knocked it out of the park and are setting a really high bar for themselves.

Iris' boyfriend. Who has been around since the beginning. ;)

I just thought of something. How is Barry going to save Cisco if he doesn't know Thawne killed him?

More like 7/10. Iris was annoying tonight (and she usually doesn't bother me) and it was stupid that Barry and Iris stopped to express their feelings and smooch when they were supposedly on their way to rescue Joe. And since when is Caitlin so stupid that she checks her watch in front of Dr. Wells when she's trying to stall him?

His actions in the past may change how people do things the second time around. Maybe something happens that requires Cisco to help him instead of sticking around to examine the force field.

It's the best intro on television and gets me pumped every time I hear it. They actually copied the voice-over introduction on Arrow, though Oliver's lines are terrible compared to Barry's intro.

Actually, Arrow did it first.

I believe they changed how Oliver introduces his show to match Barry's intro. They copied the opening "My name is X and..." That line wasn't on Arrow before the Flash did it.

I enjoy Arrow's use of it. Barry saying it just comes off as annoying.

Fantastic episode!

I didn't care for the Barry / Iris content. When Caitlin can say "Hello." to Barry and you have more chemistry than Barry/Iris professing their love, then you have a problem.

I am really enjoying the actors playing the villains. I'd like to have some with more substance and screen time. I guess it's a twist on the usual big bad since you see Wells all the time.

I'm not versed in Flash comics so a lot of this is fun to watch unfold. Running back in time was great!!!!

Did Wells say he'd been there 50 years?
