The Flash (S1E15) -- "Out of Time" -- 3/17/15
"Out of Time" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)
LIAM MCINTYRE GUEST STARS AS THE WEATHER WIZARD; CISCO REALIZES DR. WELLS IS HIDING SOMETHING - Mark Mardon aka The Weather Wizard (guest star Liam McIntyre) appears in Central City intent on avenging his brother Clyde's death, and sets his sights on Joe (Jesse L. Martin), who shot Clyde. When Mardon attacks Joe and Barry (Grant Gustin), Barry is able to super-speed them to safety but Mardon gets away. Barry warns Joe not to go after a meta-human alone but Joe doesn't listen and ends up in grave danger. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) looks into the night the team captured the Reverse Flash and realizes something doesn't add up and begins to wonder whether Joe was right about Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh). Barry and Linda (guest star Malese Jow) end up on an awkward double date with Eddie (Rick Cosnett) and Iris (Candice Patton).
Thor Freudenthal directed the episode written by Todd Helbing & Aaron Helbing (#115). Original airdate 3/17/2015.

Soooooooooooo fucking good. God damn. The producers said this was the best episode they've done and they were right. Could've been a season finale. Can't wait to see what else is in store.

Wow, what an incredible episode. I was stunned when Reverse Flash killed Cisco.
He has slowly become one of my favorite characters on the show.
Flash is really bringing the speed now, he's nearly at his pre-Crisis powers.
I was so afraid when this show started that Barry would be stuck around the sound barrier for multiple seasons. I might possibly cry when he vibrates through something.

Pretty sure the time travel element introduced at the end will reset everything. Especially considering that Sisco is featured prominently in the sizzle reel for the rest of the season.

Absolutely crazy awesome episode that is going to turn out to be a big fat waste of time when they reset all of it. Not that I want Cisco dead or anything, but man that would've shaken the show up.

Jeez, what an episode! It fucking had everything! They're definitely going to "erase" this episode with next weeks. I don't see how they couldn't. I didn't think losing Cisco would matter to me but that scene between him and Wells was great. It was there on Cisco's face. He knew he was a goner.
And the final moments with Barry & Iris was just fan-fucking-tastic! A kiss and a full (awesome) reveal. I love this show!

God, that was fantastic!! Easily the best episode of the season. The special effects in that final sequence was amazing. I'm curious to see what happens now with the time reset. 15 episodes into season 1 was provably a little too soon for Wells to be fully outed as Reverse Flash. I think they will re-address that by the finale. But that scene with Wells and Cisco was intense. You could really see the fear in his eyes.
McIntyre was a pretty awesome villain this week too.

yeah, i felt like this was a whole lot of fluff since it's all just going to be retconned. Oh well, it was good, at least now Barry knows he has a taste of being able to GO FAST enough to go back to the past.

The episode would have had more of a cliffhanger if they hadn't shown Barry ending up in the past. They should have ended it with him disappearing as he sped up. Most now assume that Barry will tamper with the past to save Cisco.
I did like how Wells didn't beat around the bush, he fully revealed his identity and motivation to viewers. Watch out for your wedding day, Iris.

Loved the episode, but am I the only one a little disappointed that it's so straight forward with Wells being RF? Was hoping for a twist of some kind.
