Wow. I can't disagree more. I just got caught up after getting behind by 3 or 4 episodes and I think it's the best thing going right now. Sometimes I have real trouble reconciling just how much crap these two characters are able to juggle in any given day, but their characterizations make it so worth it. Phillip and Elizabeth are great characters and I'm riveted by their complexities. This war they are in with each other for Paige is better than any of the actual spy stuff they have done. I honestly can't understand why this show doesn't get more attention.Originally Posted by slop101

Agreed 100%. If there's no major shocker of game changer at the end of this season I'm deleting the season pass.Originally Posted by slop101

It's not even that I want some big shocking event either, it's just that it's become so mundane, especially with all the family stuff (with both Phillip/Elizabeth and the FBI guy AND Phillip's fake wife, etc), there's just too much domestic drama for a show that's supposed to be about international espionage. I also start falling asleep every time there's a scene at the Russian embassy. I think this is the only show that's made Russians boring.

I still like the show but they really do need to move on the Paige training program. At least it started during this show.

I couldn't agree more about the Russian characters excepting Nina. Removing her from the embassy reveals how utterly boring those scenes usually are and how they mostly go nowhere.Originally Posted by slop101

This show is starting to hit a brick wall because it's an ongoing concern. They can't advance the plot without permanently altering the current cast, which is likely a last resort.

Exactly. The way they ended last season with that Paige cliffhanger, I didn't expect them to drag it on and on and on this season. Love the show, but it's starting to drag for me too.Originally Posted by Luds

I'm waiting for Phillip to just say "fuck it" and defect, becoming a double agent. Elizabeth sure seems set on pushing him that way.

I hadn't considered that possibility - that has the potential to be really interesting and would breathe some much needed life back into the show.Originally Posted by SuckaMC

I'm guessing Nina gets sent back due to her help in securing prison intel. I'm really hoping for this because everythign with Stan right now really bores me.Originally Posted by PhantomStranger
