Didn't they thaw him out a short time before the second movie took place? Was he out of the ice that early?

They thaw him out for missions and then put him on ice again when the mission is complete.

You mean Cap or Winter Soldier?

Captain America was lost and frozen from WWII until the present day.

Bucky must have been recovered a short time after his fall because he was, at the time, just a normal human who wouldn't have survived being frozen. He was then made into The Winter Soldier, and then kept frozen or in some other kind of suspended animation between missions. It is indicated in the movie that he has been active for a long time.

http://www.spoilertv.com/2015/05/age...ode-order.html

The show's second series will consist of 10 episodes.

"What was very exciting is, in a second season she's grieved over Steve and she's now about to embark on a new adventure in her life. So she's in a much better place, so in terms of where she is it's going to be a lot lighter for her, there's going to be more humour to her and more warmth. She's not struggling so much with her identity."

"I also think the show runners really want to move it forward", she said. "So it's going to be set in LA and with 10 episodes it's going to be a very glamorous, dark world of 1940s Los Angeles.

1940s LA at least sounds interesting. Hopefully, the show will be worthy of Atwell's characterization next year.

Only thing that bothers me about Agent Carter being renewed is it wound up forcing the cancellation of a far superior series in Forever.

Never even heard of it before - so that was it's issue, not Agent Carter.

Forever got cancelled as it's ratings were poor, nothing more. If Carter had not been renewed then it'd have been another Marvel show that would've been green lit to bridge the AoS break.

Forever sucked, or at least sucked for the first 5 episodes. That's why it was cancelled. I don't hear that "OH it got so much better after 5 episodes". By then, your window to impress is OVAHHHH.

I just saw this movie and I kept wondering where i've seen something similar happen.

Spoiler:
Kind of funny to see both of them do the people attacking each other thing.

I liked Forever yet it got 90% closure that helps a lot. I would pick Agent Carter over Forever.

Oh, goody. A whole new town full of people who think Carter can't do anything because she's a girl!

I understand and appreciate realism but what they did in the first season was to beat us over our head to make their point how less of a person Carter was because of her sex.

It's not Citizen Kane. It's a TV show and that's how they thought back then.

You guys do realize that's exactly how it was back then, right? Women didn't even have the right to vote until 1920. Women being equal to men is a very recent concept that has only existed for a few decades.

I remember being in the family truckster on vacation back in the late 60's. We stopped for gas and there was a woman traveling alone having car problems. My mother could not get over the fact that lady was traveling all alone. Women just did not do that. I guess they either went with a man or they stayed home.

I'm sorry. I guess I should learn to expect this level of historic realism in a show about a female secret agent who was dating a super-soldier, cavorts around with a millionaire playboy genius philanderer (with a warehouse full of doomsday weapons) and who will soon be in charge of a super secret spy agency that has a flying aircraft carrier.

You should. What she was in her world was very different from the cultural norms of her time. She's a walking vagina. All she's good for is fucking, making kids, and doing shit to accommodate men's comfort. That's what women were. And for some still is. Which is freakish to think of it existing today in Western society.

I stand corrected. If there's one thing I've learned from the recent confederate flag kerfuffle, it's that people in this country are super serial about historical accuracy.
