I'm more concerned about the ethics of four civilians running a private prison with no due process and indefinite solitary confinement. The cop who's in on all this doesn't seem to mind at all. Granted, Ironwood, the "I can't believe it's a prison" of the DOC, could hardly hold them, but this seems like something that will come back to haunt them in many ways.

I get where you're coming from, but I have to agree with the "it's a comic show" people on that one. Seems pretty routine for people in comics to make up their own rules when it comes to due process. So I get it, but I do just accept that one.

But not even touching on how the prisoners could stay alive while our heroes play judge and jury? Nope, going to have to try harder show runners. :D

Wells looks loaded and his lab is apparently a gigantic facility with multiple levels. I imagine it has other staff that is looking after the prisoners.

On the subject of S.T.A.R. Labs, they still haven't had any work done to remodel the exterior of the building? One of the establishing shots showed chunks of the building are still broken.

Never thought i'd say this but i think this show is cycling through the gallery of villians way too quickly. Completely opposite problem to Agent Carter

We are now getting multiple villians per episode

they don't need to show ever character in the Flash DC universe in the first season !

and i really don't like this every villian was created in the reactor explosion stuff

I would prefer different origins for some of the villians

I agree for the most part. I wish we got a few villains tied to alternative origins, though television has shown a tendency in the past to tie everything to a common origin. Smallville rarely if ever went beyond meteor rock as an explanation for all the characters with super powers.

They need to start occasionally showing villains escaping, the Flash can't imprison every single villain he defeats.

The CW and producers are spending money like crazy now that the Flash is a big hit.

Given the relative easy chemistry between Panabaker and Gustin (in contrast to the chemistry between he and Patton), I thought this was the obvious way to go months ago. Then I googled Caitlin Snow.

Given they've essentially inverted Firestorm, I wonder if/how they will handle

Killer Frost.
And I wonder if the Barry's

Just watched this episode. Did anyone else notice the scenes in the previews for this episode never took place? They showed Barry and the girl from the bar making out on a couch, and another scene with her upset at him. They never even went there.

Oh, and Barry has a good voice. :)

You're 2 weeks behind. Barry and Linda hook up in episode 13.

I suspect the final casting for Iris came down to Panabaker and Candice Patton. The CW obviously went with Candice Patton. I am not sure if that was to line up with Jesse L. Martin's character (who has been much better than I expected, I was prepared to hate the revisionist Flash history) or not. Probably not.
