Ha! Amell actually posted this this week on Facebook:

Related note - I rarely follow celebs on Facebook, but his page is worth following. Regularly engages with fans, posts memes and original art created by fans. Pretty cool.

It is probably his publicity agent posting the stuff on Facebook.

Interesting episode, love Vinnie jones, hate Laurel as Black canary so quickly and Thea being pretty much a master assassin after a few months, bloody ridiculous'

Why wouldn't they call the flash to run over to where Oliver was going and check things out ?

No, it really is him. That's what makes it different. He posts videos of himself all the time, does live Q&As, etc. If you're on Facebook, check it out. The difference between his page and other celebrity pages is obvious immediately.

Great episode despite Ollie/Arrow being MIA most of it. We got a chance to see Arsenal and Diggle out in the field together.

Was surprised at the end with the new Black Canary's reveal. I though they were going to wait a little longer to build that up.

Bringing in Vinnie Jones as another villain was cool. He's also on the ABC Galavant. Man, he's been getting a lot of work too.

Good return episode. Apparently there booking these episodes as a trilogy which should be neat to see. Laurel becoming Black Canary was interesting. She really has no resemblance to the comic book BC though and is basically the Kate Spencer Manhunter. I'm also really warming up to Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer and wouldn't mind a series based on him if the rumors are true. I'm guessing that this Atom won't shrink though and will be more Iron Man based.

And man did this episode have a major Batman vibe. Replace Roy with Robin, Diggle with Nightwing, and Laurel with Batgirl and this could easily have been a Batman TV series episode.

On an "Arrow" related note, I was playing bar trivia last week and a question went like this:

Question: "Millionaire playboy Oliver Queen is also which superhero?"

Because of this show, I turned in the answer "Arrow" and the trivia guy marked it wrong saying the only correct answer is "Green Arrow"

I disputed this and he claimed that, despite the TV series title, the character is never called just "Arrow" on the show.

I felt so cheated.

It sounds like the guy doesn't even watch the show. He is definitely called just "Arrow" on the show. Season 1 they called him "The Hood" because he was seen as a murdering vigilante. Season 2 after he saved the city and stopped killing so much, people starting looked at him as a hero and started calling him "The Arrow."

I haven't started watching Season 3 yet to know if they call him "Green Arrow" yet, but he was definitely called just "The Arrow" in Season 2. The reason I haven't started watching Season 3 is because I don't typically watch a TV season as it airs. I wait until the season is over, and then I binge watch the whole thing. I prefer binge watching over watching one episode per week.

Nope, no green arrow in season 3, either. You wuz robbed. As taffer said, he's been referred to as "the vigilante", "the hood", and "the arrow". Never green arrow.

Roy went from being called "Roy", "the red one", or "Parkour Enthusiast" to being called "Arsenal". No "Red Arrow" for him.

Roy was called Speedy once in Season 2. Although it was later clarified that Ollie was actually referring to Thea in an attempt to get Roy to calm down from his Mirakuru rage. I never liked that Thea got the Speedy nickname instead of Roy.

Yep, didn't count that one for the reasons stated.

They've definitely avoided calling him Green Arrow on the show. I believe it's being saved for a very special moment down the road.

Also this season, Oliver referenced to him once as Speedy.

There was a bit of a throwaway line in this episode - when Diggle and Roy are chasing the baddies. One of them references "the green one."

and Captain Jack "daddy" Harkness still doesn't sweat her. i think she is good, but was no challenge for the arrow, her father, and henchman #3 yet.

she could however make roy cry like a little girl with a skinned knee.
