I don't know how effective your method is, but I've found Michael's Movie Mayhem (run by one of the members here) to be great. I ran an advanced search with Hallmark as the Studio and "Pending" as the status, which resulted in this list: http://dvdlist.kazart.com/queryDVDLi...re&sort3by=ASC

It looks like Charming Christmas, Christmas Melody, and Snow Bride are getting first-time releases on Oct. 4th. Also on the 4th, four previously released DVD's are being collected in Hallmark Holiday Collection 6: A Very Merry Mix-Up / The Christmas Ornament / Hitched For The Holidays / Come Dance With Me.

On November 1st they're re-releasing Northpole & Northpole: Open For Christmas.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas

I got The Bridge, the two part movie is already out on DVD. It has the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries banner on it. Good, but a tear jerker. I just typed in Hallmark Holiday Movies on Amazon and Walmart, and found a bunch of those movies you listed. Those 4 pack movies are great especially for the Holiday Challenge.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas

I saw a posting on the Hallmark facebook page that A wish for Christmas was filmed during Lacey Chabert's pregnancy, which should make it interesting to watch. I am already ready for the holiday challenge, I haven't been in the mood for too many horror movies.

I can't wait. I usually like Lacey's movies, and this one looks pretty good.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas

I really enjoyed A Wish For Christmas. It had a lot of Christmas spirit. A good movie to kick off the Holiday season.

I also watched Just in Time for Christmas (2015). It's about a young woman that chooses a big career break over her boyfriend, then takes a magic sleigh ride with William Shatner and jumps 3 years in the future to see the results. That one was pretty good too. A predictable formula movie, but the leads were very charming (Eloise Mumford and Michael Stahl-David). I don't know why I missed it last year.

Yep, A Wish For Christmas was a fine start to the Christmas movie season. Lacey was great in it.

Wal-Mart has DVD releases for A Christmas Melody (2015) and Christmas Under Wraps (2014). They also come with a Vudu digital code.

I bought both of those this week. I held on to the digital codes but I don't know if I want to us them. I already have a UV collection of digital copies but don't know if I want to start a VUDU account as well. I was surprised to learn that a Christmas Melody was directed by Mariah Carey, and it wasn't a movie all about her. Lacey was great in it and the kid was actually likeable. Christmas Under Wraps reminded me of Doc Hollywood, with story being around a doctor in a small town. Candice Cameron Bure has done just as many Hallmark movies as Lacey Chabert, but Lacey does a better job than them. A Wish for Christmas comes on DVD at Walmart on the 15th.

Thanks so much for posting TheBigDave! Too bad they didn't include Charming Christmas also, but I definitely need to get in there. As luck would have it I'd been in to WM 3 weeks in a row, and skipped it this past Tuesday.

Speaking of Hallmark, I saw that on DVD-R they've released Angels and Ornaments (2014) and Christmas with Tucker (2013) on Oct. 25th. It makes me even more determined to support the real DVD releases sooner rather than later.

How do you watch your UV movies without a Vudu account? If you buy movies at Wal-Mart, you should definitely have a Vudu account. They have an InstaWatch feature on some movies. When you buy a BD/DVD at Wal-Mart, it will automatically add to your UV/Vudu account.

I really hope A Wish For Christmas comes with a digital copy.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas

I started using the digital copy codes when I got my iPod touch. I have an ultraviolet collection, but didn't want that account plus a vudu account. If you tell me they will be connected I might use them.

I just tried both of those codes they worked and it linked my ultraviolet account. I'll start using them now.

A Christmas Melody was one of the best, new Hallmark films last Christmas. Mariah Carey is surprisingly a supporting player in it instead of being the star.

The Mistletoe Promise was just ok. I wasn't crazy about Jamie King. In most of these HMC movies, the lead actress is warm and charming. She seemed very dour and had some strange facial expressions.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas

I caught one from last year that got repeated this week, The Christmas Note.

While it ultimately ends up on a happy note, it's probably the most sad Hallmark movie I've seen in years. The characters are crying all over the place and it became almost uncomfortable viewing the first thirty minutes. The cast is fine, it just hits too many sad notes in a very depressing plot concerning a recent death and being adopted.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas

I watched A Perfect Christmas. It was just alright, nothing special. The humor was kinda bland. I was expecting something more zany. But it had a lot of good Christmassy scenes. So it was a decent Holiday flick.

I missed that one last year. But I hope to check it. I haven't seen Jamie-Lynn Sigler in anything since The Sopranos.
