I'm pretty sure they are actual pressed discs showing up on Best Buy's website. As I said I'm trying to be selective in my my new movies I buy on dvd this year. Also I really enjoyed "On The Twelfth Day of Christmas", as said good story that felt very christmas like, and has a cute lead actress.

Amazon has been doing that more and more. Selling burned copies while other retail outlets get actual pressed copies. That tells me Amazon hates warehousing slow-moving physical media releases.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas
I did some more research and saw that for "A Christmas to Remember" & "A Nutcracker Christmas" then Deep Discount lists both as Manufacture on Demand, and both they and B&N have the manufacturer as Cinedigm MOD. BB lists both as originating from Cinedigm too, though as has been said, nothing about MOD.
But last month's releases of Broadcasting Christmas & Mr. Miracle are shown as Hallmark on all 3 sites, with nothing about MOD. Ms. Matched, which is coming next month, is the same.
I don't know that it proves anything, but seems to me worth noting at least.

Yeah, hard to say whether that's a data-entry error or a significant difference.

The Annual Lacey Chabert Christmas movie is on Tonight called The Sweetest Christmas. I'll be getting it at Walmart in a week.

So the Target title I saw last week was Just the Way You Are with Candace Cameron Bure: https://www.target.com/p/just-the-wa...39#lnk=sametab
At Wal-Mart today I saw Christmas in the Air w/Catherine Bell & A Heavenly Christmas w/Kristin Davis.

I still want to see November Christmas based on the recommendations from here. I saw the Christmas in the Air at Walmart, and decided not to get it. I Know that the Sweetest Christmas will be on dvd next week at Walmart, its on their website.

I love that movie. But unfortunately, I don't see it scheduled this year. Usually it airs a couple times on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas
Just watched Journey Back to Christmas (2016) and liked it. Not sure I've seen Candace Cameron Bure before and never watched her old series, and I don't believe I agree with her politics, but she was fine in the movie.

I found Lacey Chabert's latest movie The Sweetest Christmas at Walmart, I only wish "On the Twelfth Day of Christmas" had a dvd or digital release. I can only watch it as a poor quality version on youtube.

Amazon has a Lightning Deal right now for 'Tis The Season For Love, starring Sarah Lancaster, on DVD for $4.79.

Seen it, its okay but not the greatest. I'm kind of disappointed this thread hasn't been too active yet for this year. If anyone follows the christmas movies that play on Ion Television, they start tomorrow, and run on weekends now through Christmas.

I'm looking forward to tonight's new movie, The Christmas Train. It has a great cast (Dermot Mulroney, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Danny Glover, & Joan Cusack). And it's a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie. Those are usually really good with a higher production value.

I'll say, when you have bigger stars the production costs go up. I'll bet its good.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas
I did see that there is a "Netflix Original" Christmas movie called "A Christmas Prince" starring Rose McIver that I will definitely check out. Seems like a market that is ripe for Netflix to move into, as popular as the Hallmark movies are. Hopefully this one is good and they get some positive feedback and expand their new offerings next year.
Netflix does also have a small catalog of Christmas movies that originally aired on Ion, ABC Family, Lifetime, and such, but not many of them look that interesting to me. I'll report here on any that I do watch.
While visiting family for Thanksgiving, we did watch a couple of Hallmark movies I hadn't seen before:
Christmas with Holly, starring Eloise Mumford. The story is kinda 'meh', but lordy, Mumford is cute as hell.
Christmas Festival of Ice, starring Taylor Cole. I liked one of these movies I saw Cole in last year, and she is freakin' gorgeous, but this movie was really dumb. She's been through law school, passed the bar exam, and is about to join her mother's law practice when... she wins one ice sculpture competition and decides to throw away years of hard work to pursue a career in ice sculpting? I'll take "Decisions I'll Come To Regret" for $500, Alex.

The movie that premieres tonight on Ion is called Snowmance, if i don't watch it tonight it'll be on several times before christmas.

Wasn't Taylor Cole in Christmas in Homestead? Agree she's gorgeous. I've run across the end of that one twice this year and have finished it both times.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas
I haven't had time to watch any of the Hallmark Christmas movies, but I recorded a few recently.
I recorded Switched for Christmas, which aired last night. It has usual Hallmark regular Candace Cameron Bure playing twins. Thought it had a cool premise. I'll try to check it out soon.
and then I recorded Home for Christmas Day, which has Catherine Bell.
I like the movies that have some sort of fun hook. The ones that are a by the numbers Christmas romance are kind of boring for me now.
