Just thought of something. Has Maggie even shown one ounce of curiosity about what happened to her little sister?
Daryl telling what happened to Beth was in a mini time lapse as the beginning of the first episode. Maggie was happy she was still alive.

Re: The Walking Dead (S5E02) -- "Strangers" -- 10/19/14

Here I thought the "Terminus" storyline was finished. No, it's not finished at all...the location is gone, but the story is going to be with us for a while - which is kind of a bummer, since I admired that the first episode (seemingly) wrapped it all up.

Sorry, I just don't find Gareth and his gang very threatening. The Governor would have had those guys for lunch (pun intended).

Also, there was a church used back in Season 1 or 2 (I think) that Rick and Shane (and maybe some others) visited...it looks like the same church (inside and out) that we saw last night - anyone want to go back and pull a screenshot and see if they used the same location? I don't think it's SUPPOSED to be the same church, I just think they used the same church for shooting.

Well, that was fucked up. I seriously want to go stick my head in the oven. Bob is worse than dead, and the people from Terminus are casually evil and totally fucked up. That disturbing-ass image will stay with me for longer than I ever want it to. And that guy Tyrese didn't kill is now responsible for a fate worse than death while the rest of the gang parties and drinks. Great. I seriously want to take my Prozac and go lie down for a while.

How did Carol get the car running again? Why is the mysterious car which took Beth roaming around for no apparent reason?

I'm starting to think this Gareth guy might be a cannibal.

That was something that bothered me in the comic version of this story as well.
Spoiler:
They don't notice a Walker bite while they're cutting off his leg? If nothing else a little blood from the bite might have appeared.

They escaped from Terminus in a hail of bullets, where they were bound and gagged and got loose, scaling fences over barb wire to reach the woods, etc.. I would expect every single person to have cuts, scrapes, abrasions all over their body.

So I highly doubt that they are going to take notice to a gash in his leg, or any other part of his body.

All the more reason to jump into rotten-zombie-infested waters! Your post (which is logical) makes that scene even more ridiculous.

wonder if Gabriel worked/lives at the funeral home (was clean and well stocked with food) where Beth was snatched from?

I thought the same thing. They're going around in circles.

Sorry, there's a big difference between some gun violence, zombie violence, or even Game of Thrones violence and showing a guy's leg being barbecued and people around the campfire chowing down and discussing how the guy's leg tastes to his face. That's far more disturbing than seeing actual violence, IMO.

I think both Glenn and Maggie looked on appreciatively when Abraham gave that speech about going to Washington DC. I think Maggie nodded? at Rick after he said okay yes let's go to Washington DC. Maggie is one cold woman to forget about her sister like that.

Yea, I'd say let's wait and see how things go the next day before writing it off as bad writing. I'd imagine in the morning three people are missing anyway which freaks them out. Bob is with the Termites and Carol/Daryl went after Beth.

I agree. That was some Hannibal Lecter type shit. Really creeped me out.

I'm wondering if the entire town is in this together. The Termites/Hunters, the priest at the church, the morgue which was well stocked with food, and where ever Beth is that the car was probably speeding toward.

The hilarious thing is that Father Gabriel and the Morgue individual(s) have all these can goods they are living on while the Termites/Hunters are to the point of cannibalism.

Yes, and the quick shot of the guys face shows that he looked no different than before - even though a 260+ pound Tyrese pounded the shit out of his face over and over. Either this episode took place 2 or 3 months later or the health-care system in a zombie apocalypse is amazing. The shows writing

Still funny that <100 pound nothing-but-bones walkers are so hard to hold back. Bob had so much trouble with one.

So Gabriel is yet another Wire alumni.

Gabriel is also an Oz alumni, along with Mitch (Kirk Acevedo), who teamed up with The Governor at the end of season 4.

We've also got a few Treme actors, including Michonne, the dude Tyreese claimed he killed and one of the guys in Daryl's 'claimed' crew.

I had no idea what they were refering to. Great storytelling there.
