Re: Resurrection (S2E03) -- "Multiple" -- 10/12/14

well at least we know why the deputy hasnt been getting much sleep

i'm guessing he has had to murder his a-hole brother repeatedly and he keeps being a pest and coming back, lol

the episode i guess partially *answered* a question from last week, why was granny digging up bones

appears they are some people that got strangled/hung/murdered, came back and got killed again

she then took the bones to the miracle waters of arcadia

i guess the episode also used a lil exchange of dialogue between maggie/marty regarding "dissapearing" to tell us that once you dissapear that's it. but if you die you will keep coming back

Really. I though the episode last night was a big step up from the first 2 seasons. Seems like they are starting to build an interesting mythology and the interactions with people and the events are believable. I really like the direction they have taken so far.

I liked this episode a lot.

at Deputy Carl being absolutely tormented by his obnoxious bully brother Mikey. I liked how he couldn't take it anymore and blasted him, then dumped the body in the basement...and Mikey reappeared yet again. Kind of a different take on groundhog day in a way.

For me, this was a good departure from missed loved ones coming back and being embraced. Carl obviously hated his brother and it wouldn't surprise me that he initially killed him in the 1st place.

I don't know what answers Marty is expecting to get by seeing his dead self. That version is dead, move on.

I just knew while watching that the actor playing Young Fred Langston had to be related to Matt Craven... turns out it's his son Nick. Excellent casting.
