Re: How to Get Away with Murder (ABC) -- Season 2 Thread -- Premieres 9/24/15
I was reading the preview article in TV Guide and I realized and I didn't even recognize most of the character names or some of the plotlines from the end of last season.
Scandal was the same way for me. I think I checked out in season 2 of that.

I'm still going to watch but it did seem to get convoluted near the end of last season.

One of the biggest poster complaints that I see on this forum is shows with characters that they hate or are unlikable.
For this show, I think that's the whole point. You're not supposed to really like anyone. They're all bad people who did bad things. I think the appeal of this show is seeing if they get away with it or if they will get caught. I don't need to root for a hero or heroine on every show.

Wow, Annalise and Eve.I have to give Viola Davis a lot of credit. She certainly isn't shy. The show is certainly pushing the boundaries of network TV.
Some interesting developments in episode 2. Nate seeing that Eve and Annalise have a "relationship" should be interesting in a future episode. He should figure it out by now that Annalise brought her in to help him out.
at Frank sexually teasing Laurel and this blowing her off.I'm very curious who killed the new prosecutor in the flash forward as well as who shot Annalise.

Thursday's episode was quite disturbing. Especially the reveal about Bonnie's past.
Explains why she's so attached to Annalise and some of her odd behavior. I think she looks at Annalise as a Motherly figure in her life.
Asher is such a whiny douche. He needs a good kick in the nuts.
at Frank's antics this season. He's the default gigolo, fixer, hitman and money launderer.
I liked how Frank sensed that Wes and the group were on to him about Rebecca's whereabouts and "fixed" things including framing Levi for the drug possession.
at Annalise taking away Michaela's phone during her sex talk.
This show just takes crazy, absurd and convoluted to new heights.

Holy sh$t the last ten minutes were intense. We might have also gotten confirmation Wes is Annalise's son or at least she knew of him before he came to her class. I love this show.

I was hoping the writers weren't headed for the Wes is Annalise's son route but it looks like that's where we're going. Is there anyone on this show that doesn't have motive to shoot Annalise?

Loved this latest episode. That mother son scene was sad. Good acting on both their parts. Loved that last scene with child Wes and Annalise. Thought they did a good job making her look younger.
I was shocked how everything went down.

The Season Finale was last week.
Guess all the theories here about Wes were all wrong.
I'm curious who killed Wes' biological father for that cliffhanger? What I enjoyed the most in the last few episodes of the season was seeing the back story of Annalise from 10 years ago and the loss of her baby. I really that was one of the contributing factors to her being as screwed up as she was. And Frank being behind it was an interesting reveal.
Curious about the lifespan this show has. Fortunately the seasons are so short at only 15 episodes.

It's a good show. Just when you think, where are they going with this? They reveal and you're like...wooooow.

There are so many crazy people on this show that I can't begin to hypothesize on who killed Wes' father (my best guess would be Frank though). The writers keep coming up with compelling victims so the show will continue until Davis is no longer available or the ratings really tank.

Well looks like my who killed Wes' father hypothesis might have been correct. Now we get to guess which character bit the big one in the fire.

Just caught the premiere tonight.
Hmmm, looks like we have another non-linear murder mystery again. Any guesses on who was BBQ'd in Annalise's house?
I think it's either:
I don't think anyone else from the Keating 5 was cause that type of reaction from her.

Binged the last 5 episodes including the midseason finale late last night. Yes, I actually watched this over The Walking Dead and Westworld.
Wow, that was a crazy episode to end the year. I wish ABC's stupid promo dept wasn't so obsessed with spelling everything out for the viewer.
The whole who is #Underthesheet promotion along with who will be revealed as a survivor this week was obnoxious promotion.
I did manage to avoid all spoilers on who died since Thursday until I finally powered through the episodes last night.
Anyways, I was a little surprised that it was Wes. But, I said almost 2 months ago, I thought it was either Nate or Wes. No one else from the Keating 5 would cause that kind of reaction from Annalise. Hopefully they address the missing time gap as to what happened with Wes between when he left the Police station to his body turning up.
I have to admit that this show plays much better in binge watch form as opposed to week to week. I kept wanting more after finishing an episode. My mother got caught up with season 1 via binging on Netflix and loved it and now hates viewing it week to week.

I'm going to have to give this one some thought. The show keeps doubling down on making it's characters unsympathetic. Here's your basket of deplorables.
