Anyone else still watching? I really like this show. This past weeks episode was pretty heavy. I can see how many would be turned off by the after-school special feel to it but I personally thought they did a good job of handling a pretty hot topic respectfully and still kept true to the show. They should submit Anthony Anderson's "Hope" monologue to the Emmy's.

Still watching though I haven't watched this past week's episode yet. Everyone is saying it's amazing so I'll watch it later today.

Re: black-ish (ABC) - Season 2 Thread - premieres 9/23/15
It's still pretty funny, but it's not exactly appointment TV. Charlie is definitely missed, since Wanda Sykes just isn't cutting it yet.

Re: black-ish (ABC) - Season 2 Thread - premieres 9/23/15
Latest episode was best in quite a while. The "Diff'rent Strokes" reference, garbage fish, etc all worked.

But yeah, clearly a long winded Disney commercial, but it still had it's moments. |

That brings the Johnson family vacation to a total cost to Andre of $22,155. |
Re: black-ish (ABC) - Series Thread - premiering 9/24/14
Yes this episode made me want to go to Disney World but it was still a fun and plausible episode.

"Black-ish" getting a spinof...f "College-ish" on Freefrom
http://ew.com/tv/2017/05/19/freeform...alflow_twitter Freeform has given a series order to College-ish, a spin-off of ABC’s Black-ish, set to follow oldest child Zoey Johnson (Yara Shahidi) to college. Joining Shahidi on the new series is Deon Cole, who recurs on Black-ish as Charlie, the hilariously strange co-worker and best friend of Zoey’s dad, Dre (Anthony Anderson). In the May 3 episode (“Liberal Arts”) of Black-ish, which served as a backdoor pilot for the new project, Charlie was revealed to be moonlighting on campus as an adjunct marketing professor. Written by Barris and Larry Wilmore, College-ish was originally in contention at ABC before it was deemed to be a better fit for the younger Freeform audience. The 13-episode first season is set to debut in early 2018. |

SEASON PREMIERE DISMAYED BY THE TWINS' COLUMBUS DAY SCHOOL PLAY, DRE WORKS TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT A BLACK HOLIDAY WORTH CELEBRATING, JUNETEENTH, ON A SPECIAL EPISODE OF ABC'S 'BLACK-ISH' Guest Starring Aloe Blacc and Fonzworth Bentley "Juneteenth" - The Johnsons go to Jack and Diane's school play about Columbus Day, and Dre is dismayed by the historically inaccurate way that the holiday is portrayed. "black-ish" stars Anthony Anderson as Andre "Dre" Johnson, Tracee Ellis Ross as Rainbow Johnson, Laurence Fishburne as Pops, Yara Shahidi as Zoey Johnson, Marcus Scribner as Andre Johnson Jr., Miles Brown as Jack Johnson, Marsai Martin as Diane Johnson, Jenifer Lewis as Ruby, Peter Mackenzie as Mr. Stevens and Deon Cole as Charlie Telphy. Guest starring is Aloe Blacc as himself. "Juneteenth" was written by Peter Saji and directed by Anton Cropper. Re: black-ish (ABC) - Series Thread - premiering 9/24/14
Wife and I have enjoyed this series, but felt that it was doing way too many "special episodes" last season (not to mention we both hated Johan). Looks like this trend will continue. Hopefully it's fewer episodes this season.

Re: black-ish (ABC) - Series Thread - premiering 9/24/14
Last night Monopoly episode was the best of the season, surprising given how Dre and his co-workers are usually the best part.
Dre selling Bow  |
Re: black-ish (ABC) - Series Thread - premiering 9/24/14
When I finished watching this episode I called my mom and told her we are never playing Monopoly again. She cracked up since she had already watched the episode. It's Yahtzee for us from now on.

Re: black-ish (ABC) - Series Thread - premiering 9/24/14
I don't buy this one, but recent blind item says that Anthony Anderson banged his TV daughter.
He didn't wait to see her naked until she was legal, but at least this married A- list mostly television actor waited until she was legal to have sex with the actress who plays his daughter. Anthony Anderson/ Yara Shahidi ("Black-ish") |

Poor Hyundai just became a sponsor to replace Buick and now the show's getting cancelled.
I hope Mixedish isn't hurt by this ending. |

I think it was time. The show isn't as sharp as it used to be.

Yep. I guess just "Grown-ish" is left. Which is fine because that show is an "old dudes who like looking at attractive 20yo College women" dream. |

Re: black-ish (ABC) - Series Thread - premiering 9/24/14
Wife and I stopped watching when it veered too far into "very special episode" almost every week, but thought we'd check out the finale. Best word would be underwhelmed. I did think for a second they were going to announce "Spanglish" at the end, lol.
