Great, another action-science fiction show for this forum to tear apart in 4 months.

I have little to no faith in this. Besides X-Files, FOX doesn't really stick with Sci-Fi themed shows very long.

I still have no idea why they cancelled Almost Human. This seems to have a similar budget.

saw a commercial for this the other day
didn't do anything to grab my attention and I'm a sci-fi geek. I'm still confused why they canceled one sci-fi cop show (almost human) only to go with another (minority report)

I'd assume Almost Human wasn't financially successful enough for them, and they're hoping Minority Report will be. They didn't cancel Almost Human just because it was Sci-Fi. Even though both shows are in the same genre, there will be a different premise, different people behind the scenes (especially writers), different actors, etc. In fact, genre may turn out to be the only thing they have in common.

The film is one of my favorite movies ever, and personally feel it should be left alone, but I'll still be checking this out.
