Directv - Sunday Ticket Question
I am living in Mass/Ct. area and am a Jets Fan...( I know, its rough) anyways my question is this; Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase the local CBS and Fox Channels from Direct tv for the NY City area? ( even though I do not live there? ) this would eliminate the need for purchasing the Sunday Ticket from Directv... I just do not know if this is possible. Any insight would be appreciated...thanks.

Nope. You need to get Sunday Ticket. They are only allowed to provide local channels to their own market in their service. There are ways to get the Distant Network Services (DNS), but it is unlikely you'd qualify. You could try to get DNS, but it is unlikely you will be successful: https://support.directv.com/app/answ...rvice-(dns)%3F

Aereo did not work out of market.
You'll probably get a fair number of Jets games in your area - obviously when the Pats are not on at the same time.
