I loved this show as well. Great ensemble cast with many memorable episodes -- Christine's Friend being one of my faves, for obvious reasons.

Christine Sullivan: Are you two done mentally undressing my friend?
Dan Fielding: Hold it a sec.

Dan Fielding: Hold it a sec.

One of my favorites was an episode where they plowed through a ton of cases, and one scene featured Harry delivering a long lecture, ending it with "leave that poor bird alone." Cut to Dan and Christine and Wile E. Coyote standing between them, obvious cel animation and blown up to make Wile E. as tall as the humans.
I could not stop laughing.

EDIT: I see someone posted it.

The scene I remember best is Dan copping a feel from beyond the grave. They thought he was dead? There was a box she opened and a hand sprung out onto her boob.

I'm still getting through the series, but didn't Bull get married in the final season and in the series finale he leaves the planet. Did he get a divorce in the interim? Or did the writers write themselves into a corner and just pretended that it didn't happen?

I also remember that John Larroquette won 4 Emmys in a row, and finally he asked the Emmy nominating committee to leave his name out so someone else could have a chance. I don't think anyone dominated the comedy division like he did, even Grammar and Pierce on 'Frasier.' Cranston and Paul did for 'Breaking Bad' -- Emmy nominations every year -- but that was a drama.

Re: Night Court 30th Anniversary Tribute Thread
One of the very interesting things about Night Court is they had to give a boat load of money to everyone for the 9th season. They had a final script written where Christine and Harry were going to get married. Dan was going to end up on the street with nothing. When they got near the end of season 9, Warner Brothers told them to can that episode. As they thought they could get everything together for a 10th season. Not only did that not happen, but when everyone came in to film the last episode of season 9, Warner Brothers told everyone to have their stuff cleared out by the weekend. Really an insult for what these guys had done over 9 years. If you look up Harry Anderson up on youtube, he had a few magic/comic shows with John. One was quite funny, as Harry Anderson is a real life magician.

I remember seeing Harry Anderson at Disneyworld. Well after Night Court ended. This was before you could bury your head in a smartphone so he was kind of hiding his face with a video camera

I've been watching a lot of Night Court lately. One of the cable stations runs two per day -- they're currently running one episode from Season 5 (I just saw one where Don Cheadle holds the gang hostage and arroz talks him down) and one from Season 9 (they just ran Bull's wedding). Although they did randomly show the second episode the other day (special guest star: Michael J. Fox).
It's probably not as good a show as I remember it to be, but it hits the right combo of funny and nostalgic for me.
