Seems like a pointless boycott now considering what happened on the last episode. =P
From what I'd heard it's losing the actress playing Lexa, who got her role on Fear the Walking Dead, still came back for some eps. on The 100 (and for more than I would have guessed) and when she inevitably ended her role on The 100 for the better gig then lots of crazed fans are complaining, some about homophobia (I think) and boycotting (or claiming to).

^ The same thing happened a few times with Game of Thrones. Boycotts galore in season 1.

Yeah, we all saw how well that worked out.

Galavant is for all intents and purposes dead. The lead Joshua Sasse (who plays Galavant) signed on to a CW Pilot that's in 1st position.

‘Of Kings And Prophets’ Canceled After 2 Airings. Presumably, ABC will make the unaired episode available in the same way they did for 'Wicked City'?

Switched at Birth's 5th and Final Season Won't Air Until 2017, Says Series Creator - http://tvline.com/2016/03/19/switche...7/#more-695397

Series creator Lizzy Weiss shared on Twitter late Friday night that Bay and Daphne’s farewell tour won’t visit your screen until 2017.
Meaning the show, which wrapped Season 4 on October 26, 2015, will have been off the air for well over a year.

FOX renews Last Man on Earth and Brooklyn Nine-Nine: http://deadline.com/2016/03/last-man...ox-1201726057/

New Girl, Grandfathered and The Grinder in limbo. But Deadline says that New Girl and possibly Grandfathered will get a late renewal.

As good as cancelled: Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life and Bordertown. The Grinder is a long shot to come back too.

Re: The One and Only TV FAQ Thread Plus Renewal and Cancellation News

CBS just renewed 11 shows for next season – but none of the network’s freshman series were included in this early round of pickups.

The network has picked up dramas Blue Bloods, Hawaii Five-0, Elementary, Scorpion, Madam Secretary, NCIS: Los Angeles, and NCIS: New Orleans. On the comedy side, Mom and 2 Broke Girls have been renewed, and reality veterans Survivor and The Amazing Race have also received pickups. Previously, CBS gave early renewals to NCIS and The Big Bang Theory.

Re: The One and Only TV FAQ Thread Plus Renewal and Cancellation News

Surprised they haven't officially announced Supergirl and Limitless yet.

Cool that H50 is coming back. It's a terrible show, but it makes good Friday/Saturday comedy viewing.

Season 7 might be the last one too since that's all the cast is contracted for.

CBS needs to cut their losses with Cyber. It's ratings are terrible and Ted Danson already announced he was bailing after 1 season.

Re: The One and Only TV FAQ Thread Plus Renewal and Cancellation News

I wish they'd wrap up TBBT. Use to be my favorite comedy, but now it's just long past it's golden age and needs to end. I honestly don't see me sticking with it through next season unless it improves. This current season and the one before it has been pretty bad overall.

Supergirl is the only other CBS show I watch; so obviously CBS isn't really my kind of taste these days.

Wonder why Criminal Minds wasn't renewed in this batch.

Some possible reasons:

- Ongoing contract renewal negotiations ?
- CBS first wants to see how Beyond Borders performs ?
- Finding ways to cut costs on an expensive decade old show ?
- etc ...

What would be amusing is if the revived H50 ends up lasts longer than the original series (of 12 seasons).

Cost and complications with ABC co-owning it.

http://deadline.com/2016/03/blue-blo...rl-1201726406/

Criminal Minds continues to do solid business for CBS, coming off a high 2.1 Live+Same Day 18-49 rating for the Wednesday episode featuring the exit of original cast member Shemar Moore and launching a second spinoff series, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. But now in its 11th season, it is an expensive show, with the network covering the costs full freight, while the leading studio, ABC Studios, which co-produces the series with CBS TV Studios, is reaping most of the benefits, including sales internationally where Criminal Minds is very strong. It is also conceivable that CBS would wait to see how Beyond Borders does and renew the two shows together.
