It seems like most of this forum really really hates The Leftovers.

I know this poll is very subjective, but I wanted to see what HBO shows some here absolutely hate or dislike a lot?

I'll try to throw ones that got crapped on alot or were never that popular.

I just don't get Girls at all.

Last Week Tonight With John Oliver

I stopped watching after the third straight week of spending 90% of the episode editorializing on GLBTGQBGTQGG issues. Plus I couldn't recall laughing at anything Oliver said during any of his diatribes since the show had started. I think the typical SNL Weekend Update is funnier, and that is saying a lot. It was an easy call to drop it.

I can't actually say I hate The Leftovers...it's more like I just didn't care whether the show existed or not - even as I watched it. As they say, the opposite of love is not hate, it's apathy.

I watched two episodes of Entourage and was done with it forever.

I watched about ten minutes of the first Looking and decided I wasn't the target audience for the show. I wasn't far enough along to judge it's quality.

I did watch two or three episodes of Ja'mie though. Didn't care for that. So other for me.

On the flip side, I love Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Look forward to it all week.

Yeah I never really liked Entourage either. I tried to like it but just couldn't get into it. I don't know if I'd say I hate it but The Newsroom is disappointing compared to what I expected it to be. Big Love is another I don't care for. I like Bill Paxton and gave it a season and a half before I decided I was done with it.

I hated Enlightened. I really wanted to punch Laura Dern's character in the face. I was so happy when it got cancelled.

Really didn't care for Luck either.

The Leftovers tops the list for me. The latter seasons of True Blood come in second. I enjoyed the remaining shows on the list to a large degree. The one that might be missing from the list is Getting On - that seemed to garner mixed reactions.

I watched two Silicon Valleys and ditched it. Not funny, and a little pretentious.

I watched the pilot for Entourage, and never watched it again, either.

I'm not crazy about what's happened with True Blood, nor am I quite hooked on The Leftovers - but 'hate' is probably too strong of a word - irritating is more like it, but I haven't dropped either of those yet (True Blood because it's so close to the end, and Leftovers because it has had one promising episode of the four so far and I still want to give it a chance).

On the other hand, I love John Oliver's show...especially after sitting through True Blood and The Leftovers.

Girls is completely insufferable.

I really enjoy Girls and thought Silicon Valley was fantastic.

True Blood was good once, several seasons ago. Started great and plummeted under the weight of its own lack of focus and Too Many Characters No One Cares About Syndrome.

I went with Veep, not so much because I hate or dislike it; I just don't think it's particularly any good.

no "none" option? There are plenty of HBO shows I don't watch. Some I have no interest in watching (Girls), I tried but just couldn't get into it (Veep) and others that I watched a little bit of but dropped because they stopped being good (True Blood).

But I can't say that I hate or strongly dislike any of them.

Also I won't lie, I don't hate the series but find Game of Thrones to be pretty overrated. Maybe it's just because I know so many people who have hyped the shit out of it but I watched it for the first two seasons and tried getting into it but it just never has done much for me. It's well made and acted and all that but I don't think it's the best thing currently airing like many make it out to be.

Girls is the only one listed that I watched some of and hated. A bunch of the others I'm indifferent about, hate would be way too strong of a word. And then others I never had any interest in even trying (True Blood, Enlightened, Hung).

Definitely The Leftovers. Most of the other series I've seen and didn't hate or haven't see yet (Looking, Hello Ladies).

I wanted to vote for Girls, but I've seen every episode, so in spite of Dunham's penchant for grossing viewers out, I've still found some stuff funny. If it were an hour show though I expect I wouldn't have bothered.

Veep makes me LOL every episode. Sure almost everyone on the show is an asshole, but that's what makes it funny to me.

I couldn't get into The Newsroom despite liking the cast and loved Sorkin's The West Wing. Also, disliked Boardwalk Empire real fast.

Wow, I'm surprised by looking at the poll list just how few HBO shows I actually watch. Aside from The Newsroom - which I think is above average and while I think everyone on it does a great job, I don't think the material is as great as they think it is - I don't watch a single show on that list regularly.

Personally, I've found the best way to watch Game of Thrones is to either wait until the Blu-ray is out or save the episodes up on your DVR for marathon viewing. It makes it easier to keep up with what is going on with all those characters while at the same time makes it easier to avoid the weekly threads around here that are filled with dipshits who just love to camp in the thread and spoil events from the book to prove how in-the-know they are so they can inflate their sense of self importance to strangers on the Internet.
