So can what we saw be classified as a fishnado?

Grimly once again shows that he really shouldn't be a cop. He pretty much admitted it.

Molly is most definitely alive. She's a central character and they wouldn't kill her off yet. Plus IMDb shows she's in 10 episodes.
She left 'Mr. Kreitch' for someone else (presumably) to get, and perform the procedure. So I would imagine she thought that had happened, and that they left him in the room where she found him, once the procedure was completed.

This show nails the goofy/brutal mix pretty damn well.

So the single shots Grimly hears a few seconds before he shoots Molly - was that her shooting at a fleeing Malvo or at Mr. Wrench?

Re: Fargo -- "Buridan's Ass" -- 5/20/14

I'm so undecided on this show. I'm watching every episode a week or so late, so I haven't been involved in the discussions. I've never loved it and was completely baffled by the folks who were praising the pilot like it was the second coming of The Sopranos or something. That said, I do keep watching -- even if I'm not sure why. I do think Billy Bob is amazing and very fun to watch. I sort of hate everything about Lester's character and wonder if we're supposed to root for or against him. He certainly has none of the humorous desperate appeal that William Macy had in the movie role.
I suppose we are supposed to be rooting for Molly, but she doesn't seem very interesting to me. Certainly nowhere near as interesting as Marge Gunderson. Having the rest of the police department be completely incompetent doesn't help either.
In any case, I'm still watching so they must be doing something right. I'll miss Mr Numbers and the spray-tan blackmailer. That swat shoutout was graphic and beautifully shot.

r.e. the fish - My guess is that we'll see some sort of cargo plane malfunction at some point this year.

There wasn't any pooling blood next to Molly so she had to be wearing a vest. Plus
Spoiler:
she's in the next episode description when I press info on my cable remote

I think it's the best show on TV right now. I'm gonna hate when it ends, and even if it does come back for a new season it will be with all new actors, characters, storyline.

Wow. Better than Game of Thrones and Mad Men? I really like it too, but not quite that much.

Yeah, it's nowhere near the quality of those two -- especially the writing. This is a show with like 12 major characters and only the main protagonist and the main villain/antihero aren't acting like complete idiots and making terribly wrong decisions.

I could see that being the reason. Maybe the plane is getting iced up and they need to dump some weight.

yeah, the fish thing was sort of weird. it's crazy to see the lengths Lester is going to in order to cover up his crime. pretty low thing to use his family to help him cover up the crime, too.

If his brother hadn't been such an ass, it probably would have never occurred to Lester to set him up. As it is...screw him.

Lester's brother is a bit obnoxious but framing him is dispicable... and shows the depths Lester will go. Either way, Lester had no good alibi for the shotgun bb in his hand.

Agreed. It's just like his brother said - something is missing in Lester.

This week will be the first episode that I'll watch live. I just watched all of the previous episodes last week, and I'm now a fan.

Considering I don't watch Game of Thrones and have grown tired of Mad Men I'll go with certainly.
