I have a feeling that character is still living.

I'm sure there will be an interview in the next day or two with the exec producer explaining that.

But yea, I'm confused about that scene as well.

Man this show is awesome, so much happened.

My only real gripe is that it was awfully convenient for the hospital not to realize that Lester was gone.

Boy, they musta put 30 shots into him. A little overkill :)

Well he wouldn't go down!

Spoiler:
Ya'll think she is still alive? The vest caught it and she passed out from impact shock or something? If there was blood pooled near her, I missed it.

I'd be surprised if she wasn't wearing a vest. Then again, the sheriff wasn't, so who knows...

I don't think we need to spoiler discussion of the current episode, do we?

Just in case I'm wrong.

Spoiler:
I sure as hell hope she's alive. Would really suck for her to go out like that.

They were both stupid in that case. Her for not letting him know she was moving away, in zero visibility, and not calling to him on her way back. Him for shooting without trying to verify who he was shooting at.

I'd also like to know how Lester got back into the room, especially after first getting the other patient out.

That said, I can't get enough of this show. At least we've got four episodes to go!

Lester put the other patient in his bed and threw the blanket over him. After he got done setting up his brother, he went back to the hospital, dressed back into the gown and wrapped his head up and found a bed to lie in. The nurse who was searching for him found him and brought him back to the room.

No, I read it -- Lester's plan that is -- as way to get the kid in trouble -- either at home or at school -- so the mom (Lester's sister-in-law) finds that he has the gun, and returns it the gun locker thus discovering Lester's planted 'evidence.'

The nephew was just a cog in the plan.

If Molly is dead, I could see that getting her father involved. I'm thinking they didn't bother casting Keith Carradine just to cook meals in a diner.

So what about the nephew seeing him in the house? Is the kid that screwy that no one would believe or care what he says?

For some reason I thought that the nurse found the actual missing patient.

Probably because I initially thought Lester was going on the lam, rather than planning to return after planting his fake evidence.

Looked like SWAT SOP to me. Shoot shoot shoot, then ask questions. ;)

As someone from Minnesota, fish falling from the sky is not normal.

...but I've found a few news articles detailing fish falling from the sky, maybe now during a blizzard, so that part makes no sense.

So she finds "Mr. Kreitch" and instead of taking him to his scheduled whatever (operation?), she takes him back to his room? He missed his window in the 30 minutes or so he was "lost" and now they can't do the scheduled thing?

Grimly once again shows that he really shouldn't be a cop. He pretty much admitted it.

Molly is most definitely alive. She's a central character and they wouldn't kill her off yet. Plus IMDb shows she's in 10 episodes. ;)

Though the fish was meant to be a another biblical reference, á la Magnolia with the frogs?

Fish falling from the sky isn't in the bible, but super market guy certainly read it as another plague being visited on him.

The difference is the earlier plagues were caused by Malvo, but there's no way he could have pulled this one off, even if he wasn't busy in a gun fight at the time.

This show is full of contrivances but I still love it. Lester's plan is so stupid that you expect it to backfire, but I have a feeling that it will succeed.
