I don't think there's any combination of words to make you sound badass after shooting a woman in the back but WTF
Deputy District Attorney Tannaz Mokayef told jurors the actor was waiting for his wife, shot her in the back and taunted her before shooting each of her legs.
Jace's 10-year-old son testified that he heard his father say, "'If you like running, then run to heaven,'" before firing the second time.

He would have been just about the last actor on The Shield I would have pegged as a wife killer.

I wasn't a big fan of his storyline either. I appreciated how they tried to tell a poignant story about a closeted gay, religious, cop but they never did anything with it. They seemed to drop the storyline completely after awhile and then in the last episode they casually made a reference to it. There was no resolution to what was a pretty big running storyline.
I actually had to google him because I couldn't place the name even though I loved the series and have watched it all the way through 3 or 4 times. He was my least favorite character on the show. His story lines always dragged the show down.

Sad end to this story. Jace got what he deserved and will die in prison and now his young kids are orphans. No one wins here despite the verdict.
Sad that this was a domestic violence incident that escalated to murder.
After The Shield ended, I guess the jobs started drying up for him. Read that he was for all intents and purposes broke.
I guess no one will remember that he once played Michael Jordan in a made for TV movie years ago.
