Looks like Lady Starks daughter, Sansa, is setting her husband up to be the fall guy.

Not that this really means anything, but last night's episode was written by one of the staff writers of The Walking Dead and a staff writer from FX's The Bridge. Both have never worked on 24 before along with director Adam Kane.
Kane is also directing next week's episode.
Kane is also directing next week's episode.
It will get good again when we see "Written by Evan Katz and Manny Coto" and "Directed by Jon Cassar"
Ratings dropped about 23 percent last night...I guess that's to be expected. Plus, I imagine a lot of people DVR this or watch it later in the week.

I believe Coto and Katz are the show runners this season. Howard Gordon is working on FX's Tyrant and I believe isn't as involved day to day.
I trust Coto and Katz. They've been with the show long enough to know how it works.
Regarding ratings, definitely expected. Most 24 fans binge watch it.

I did like the fact that the guy Jack shot to start the stampede was the same guy that shoved him on his in.

Not this is the 24 I'm used to! Boring and stupid, not the fun and interesting ride last week's episodes were.

God, this episode was so stupid I'm struggling to not just give up right now. It doesn't help that the main plot so far is completely uninteresting.

"His illness is progressing way faster than we thought! I spent hours going over that document with the President, and now he clearly doesn't even remember any of it."
*signature isn't Heller's?*
"Man, his illness is progressing way faster than we thought! He can't even keep his John Hancock consistent anymore."
So it isn't very smart forging the POTUS's signature, but this dude does have enough plausible excuses to pull out that he needn't sweat it quite as much as one otherwise would. Besides, this is fiction - not just fiction, this is freaking 24. The world where consequences catching up with someone are only a wild roving cougar herd away from being gotten out of.

The woman playing Chloe is so ugly with her contorted face and hooker eyeliner.... She looks like a street walking mental patient. I actually get pissed when she's in the scene.

This made me want to re-watch a bit: in the very first episode it's hard to believe that Jack got even 5 minutes of quiet family time.

I'm not wedded to 24 as a series, having only seen a couple of seasons in their entirety. This episode was bad enough to make me consider dropping my season pass. I imagine ratings will plummet even further next week.

Haven't watch episode 3 yet, but I hate to hear how shitty it apparently was.
The first 2 were really enjoyable. Hoping it picks back up soon.

So were you all expecting Jack to be hitting all the London landmarks and screaming "IM OUT OF TIME" and "DAMMIT!" for 12 episodes?

This is my very first 24... so I'm enjoying it so far and don't have expectations for any show to be non-stop action each and every week. That said, just waiting for a drone to fire is a pretty lame global issue.

Btw, it re-airs tonight for those who missed it because of the DVR issue I mentioned earlier this week.

What are you saying? That it's not possible to make a compelling, interesting and exciting 12 episode season of an action show?
