Re: Last Show You Binged?

I just finished up The Shield. I dropped off it around Season 3, which was when we finally ditched cable. Finally started it back up. Boy, that show was pretty solid start to finish.

I'm going to do the same with Justified next because I never did finish that one either. Apparently I'm on a Walton Goggins kick.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Cobra Kai. Finished up the remaining 5 episodes while on vacation yesterday. I love that this show has tons of tv viewers expressing how much of a pleasant surprise it was to watch. The actors in this show really put their heart into their roles and it shows.

Also, for me Daniel's wife is a genuine surprise in how great she is on the show. I feel that her role could have been one of the most bland/forgettable ones on the show but she owns it like a boss.

Spoiler:
The episode where she gets Daniel and Johnny to sit-down together for breakfast and prods her husband to make right after a family member destroyed and burned Johnny's car is wonderful.

Like so many others I eagerly await season 2 (fortunately 2019 is not that far-off).

Caught up on Timeless last night. Great season 2, better than S1

Still need to catch up on a couple Blacklist and haven't started The Americans yet.

Cobra Kai, then Evil Genius on Netflix yesterday. Don't know if Evil Genius really counts since it's just four episodes and can be finished in less than four hours.

All Night - Hulu.
3% - Netflix. Watched episodes 5-8, and I look forward to season two.

The first season and the first few episodes of season 2 of The Good Fight. Not nearly as good as The Good Wife, but still fun (and with a surprising number of F-bombs).

I finish watching this, thought it was okay. Liked the actress who played Simone thought her brother was annoying. Probably see the second season. One thing that was never explained why that one scene
Spoiler:
Simone, Lea and Martin were not infected when they were out in the rain but Beatrice died when one drop on her face.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Just starting Seinfeld Season 1 on DVD, watched the original run when it was on, and don't think I've seen one full ep of re-runs since. Going to start a few seasons binge with my Wife over the summer. Finished Ep 1 went with the revised Pilot on the DVD, no sign of Elaine! A lot of standup by Jerry and some point of views I don't think they used much after this pilot.

Watched the first three eps of season 2 of Money Heist. Good stuff. The professor can be pretty hardcore.

I definitely want some answers in season 2...maybe some of what does not makes sense in S1 will receive clarity in S2. I agree that the sister was great in this and the brother was okay (to the point where if he died I would not consider it a big deal). The idea of
Spoiler:
weaponizing rain to deliver a fatal infectious agent sounds really doofy at first but surprise, surprise this show pulled it off and I want to see more of the nefarious Apollon Corporation.

ETA:

For some reason my bedroom tivo does not show Brooklyn Nine-Nine on my list of shows, but when I click on the title under my Manage Onepass tab and select a current episode it says watch via Hulu, My Shows, etc., so it is being recorded but not showing up on my list of recorded shows, so odd. Instead of navigating to the title under the Onepass option and finding the ep I want to view I just decided to Hulu it.

It has been awhile since I watched an episode as I got caught up on 8 episodes not including last nights. I am so glad I did though as this show is wonderful with so much heart. That being said...I really did not realize I was that far behind as this long binge yesterday afternoon was unplanned.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

The wife and I wet back to the beginning of 'Roseanne' a couple of weeks ago and have been binging on that.....coming to the end of season 4 right now.

Personally, despite the show been 25+ years old, I still think it holds up. Sure, I know as the show goes on it gets ridiculous, but it still 20mins of entertainment in my eyes

Having never watched Breaking Bad, I watched the first four episodes on Netflix in the last two days. It's growing on me.

Yeah, it'll do that. I'm almost ready for a (third or fourth?) re-watch.

Safe - Netflix. Watched episodes 3-6 yesterday and I am partway through episode 7. It is only 8 eps so it will be nice to finish it up tonight.

I've been steadily making my way through Cheers the last couple weeks. Hands down my favorite sit com of all times, but watching it in 2018 is a trip.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Lost In Space (2018) Season 1

I never liked the original even watching it as a kid back on 80s reruns, but I actually enjoyed this one pretty well. I didn't pay too much attention to whether the characterizations were the same or that the camp was gone. The basic premise of the show is the Swiss family Robinson story set in space which it did just fine. And I liked this robot much better than the one that looked silly even for the 60s I thought.

I'll probably catch Season 2.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Just finished all 5 seasons (158 episodes!) of The Dick Van Dyke Show on Blu-ray.

What a great set. I'm kind of bummed out that I'm done, now.

I guess I'll go back through and watch and special features. I watched a few as I went along, but there are a lot I skipped.

Actually, I've got a few season of The Mary Tyler Moore Show on DVD, so maybe I'll watch those next. I'm surprised Dick never made an appearance on it.

It's a shame it never made it to Blu-ray.
