Strike Back season 5

I caught most of WGN's mini-series Shoot The Messenger. It's an okay political thriller, recommended if you like the cast members. There are a couple of ridiculous plot twists that stretch credibility. It's probably most noteworthy for how flawed the female protagonist and lead character is in her life. You don't see that too often in today's climate.

Haven seasons one and two.

Finished season 4 of Quantum Leap last week. As I expected it wasn't near as good as season 3, which seems to be the show's apex. We tore through 7 episodes of season 5 this weekend. Already a step up creatively, from season 4. I remember the Lee Harvey Oswald episode drawing ire back in the day, but I never had a problem with it. I haven't seen it since it originally aired. I appreciated what they were trying to do, but felt a little too serious with Oswald taking over Sam's brain. It was pretty dark. It seems like they just fell short of making something truly unique.

Sidebar...what the ever living fuck with the season 5 theme song? I must have totally blocked that out from my memory. Holy hell it's terrible. Even my kids think so.

The Wire seasons 2 and 3 on Amazon. I'm already two episodes into season 4. Really enjoying this show!

I'm just glad we got so many seasons of Haven and with the same cast.

Every year I was pleasantly surprised to see it show up on my DVR. I never thought it'd get past season 1.
