How was The Good Place? I watched the first episode but always forgot that it was on. I might get the DVD to catch up before season two.

It's on Netflix now.

I thought it was amusing. It's not really laugh out loud funny, but it has its moments. It does have a very unique storyline.

Grimm season six. Rare to find a show where the ending doesn't shit all over the seasons that aired before it.

Lost: Season 5 - aka the Losties in Dharmatown circa 1977 season

After all these years I've maintained that 5 started the decline, and while that's still true, it wasn't as bad as I remembered. It still has what could be an amazing series finale, and the epilogue could be the actual series finale, skipping all of season 6.

All in all, it was fun to revisit. On to the final season!

I was in the hospital for a few days this past week being treated for a medical issue. I managed to binge watch the last 10 episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles 8th season and the last 7 episodes of Bull's 1st season on CBS All-Access. That came in very handy.

NCIS: Los Angeles gets virtually no attention here, but the 8th season was quite good. A major character died (both on and off the show) and another character died that will impact the life of one of the leads.

Bull was okay for mostly time killing viewing. Pretty much a court room drama. But, I did like the last arc (3 episodes) that featured Eliza Dushku. They left things open for her character to come back.

Cuckoo - Netflix. Andy Samberg was in Season 1, and then Taylor Lautner stepped in. A surprisingly fun show with a lot of heart. Also, Taylor Lautner is actually great in this show...if all you knew him from is Twilight you might cringe that he is on the show, but his character turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

Greenhouse Academy - Netflix version of this Israeli show.

Massive binge sessions the last few days:

Finished up:

Fresh off the Boat season 3 (last 6 episodes)

Modern Family season 8 (last 7 episodes)

NCIS: New Orleans season 2 (last 5 episodes)

Now currently working my way through season 3 to get caught up with season 4

I was seriously thinking about giving up on Modern Family. I fell behind and had no urge to get caught up. But, I started to pick up where I left off a month ago and managed to finish this past weekend. The show has most likely 2 more seasons left (what it was renewed for) I've already stuck it through 8 years. Might as well stick with it until the end.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

I just ripped through all four episodes of "Fire Chasers" on Netflix, which documents crews fighting wildfires in Californian in 2016.

Some of the footage from the fires was intense, but a few of the story lines grew to be pretty boring. I had no interest in learning about the inmate firefighters life stories, and the artists who were documenting the fires were a little dull (although, his time lapse photography was spectacular).

I've been flying through Parks & Recreation right now. It's easy to binge watch 21 minute episodes.

We'd watched the first season of Continuum several months ago but didn't have anything further to continue watching. Picked up seasons 2, 3, & 4 recently, when we finished Walking Dead we started watching Continuum again, starting with the last episode of S1 to refresh our memories. We're just finishing up S2, getting ready to start S3, probably tomorrow.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

7 episodes of NCIS: New Orleans 3rd season.

I have 17 more to go before I'm caught up for season 4, which premieres in 15 days.

It sucks falling behind on so many shows (not willing to give up on them) and now trying to play massive catch up.
