Almost done with Never Have I Ever the Mindy Kaling produced Netflix show. Actually enjoying it quite a bit as it is an easy to binge show.

Hart Of Dixie - Netflix. This was not just a good CW show but a great show period, with so much heart and charm stuffed into each episode. A bit of on under-rated show and Rachel Bilson was just wonderful in this. It had low ratings at the time but became a bit of a fan fave that was able to last 4 seasons (the 4th season was a short one but still good). Almost on S2 and plan to complete my re-watch all the way to the series finale.

I signed up for the free month of CBS All Access. So far, I made it through all of:

Star Trek: Picard
The Good Fight

And now working my way through Star Trek: Discovery

Is there anything else new (i.e. not a current show on broadcast CBS) that I should try before the month runs out?

Twilight Zone and Tell Me a Story

I don't know if you watched Evil, it did air on CBS, but it's a heavily serialized show that isn't the traditional show they normally air. It's good for the streaming/binge format.

Into the Night on Netflix. It's a Belgian show about a NATO officer who hijacks a partially-boarded aircraft at Brussels Airport. He's overheard his superiors talking about some sort of calamity the comes with the sun - a coronal flare, some sort of "reversed polarity" sunburst - that's killing everyone everywhere there's daylight. So the NATO officer orders them to constantly fly west, into the darkness. I'm not sure how the logistics of this would work - they talk about circling near the north pole, so the shortest distance. But if the earth is rotating around 1,000 miles per hour, and the plane maxes out at, say, 650 mph I don't know how they can stay in darkness - especially with a stops for fuel. There's a lot more I could nitpick\complain about, but I won't. It seems like kind of a cool idea for a limited series... but the execution is VERY MUCH lacking. I'm 6 episodes in, so I'll finish... but I likely won't be back for a season 2 (if there is one).

Into The Night - Netflix; I enjoyed this. It's far from perfect, but it moves along at a fast pace and does a good job of building tension both between the characters and due to external circumstances. The premise is science fiction, but it's really a drama/thriller about a group of strangers in a dire situation together. It's only six episodes, so not a major investment. Hopefully there will be a second season.

I recommend watching with the original (French) audio and using subtitles. I tried switching to the English dubbed audio and it really detracted from the performances and from the overall tone of the show.

I hope some of you still have your DVD sets of the show -- don't know when or if it'll ever make it to HULU, BD, or even regular streaming. Also, the DVD box set of the seasons goes for almost $200 on the secondary market.

Yes, I still have my 3 box sets of each season. Quite a show in its time. Glad I got it.

Nice. The individual seasons - 1-2 can still be had for an almost decent price if you look hard enough, but season 3 is nowhere to be found. They must have pressed a tiny amount of season 3's.

The complete series set is the one that goes for a ton:
