Re: Last Show You Binged?

Finished Wolf Creek. Enjoyed it, though there were some moments that had me shaking my head.

Also watched another Aussie show called Laid. A bit of a dark comedy about a woman whose former sexual partners all seem to die.

I'm currently watching 3 percent. Not sure about it yet. It's about a dystopian future Brazil, where 3 percent of the population make it through 'the process' so they may live 'offshore' where everything is wonderful.

Fleabag, but right now I'm re-watching The Sopranos.

However, 'binging' for me consists of two to three episodes per week.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

I'm about halfway through 1st season of Damages, really enjoying it.

How did this go 5 seasons with Glenn Close & Rose Byrne as the plot of Season 1 seems like it's a 1 season show like Tru Detective & Fargo?

No spoilers please.

Each season of Damages is a self contained story arc. However, small character story elements have carried over into each season. Aside from Byrne and Close, pretty much each season also has a brand new supporting cast as well.

Crazyhead - Netflix. Watched all 6 episodes today after I read a positive article on the show on Bleeding Cool. I agree with the article, if you miss Buffy The Vampire Slayer this show may scratch that itch.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Over the last couple days finished up BoB and The Pacific. Haven't seen the Pacific for a couple years.

The Pacific is really well made and certainly conveys the horror of the Pacific theater against a maniacal and fanatical enemy. The story though because it's based on the three separate memoirs doesn't develop the personal connection Brothers does. The advantage Brothers has showing the early years at Toccoa as well as interviews with the actual participants develops a more intimate connection.

No one wants to decide on whether to be too cold or too hot, so no offense to the guys that lived through the Bulge with no proper winter clothing, but Jeez, I can't think of worse fighting than that island jungle fighting against an enemy not afraid to break the rules of war.

We've watched Seasons 1 thru 4 + 3 B5 movies, just started Season 5, 3rd episode. Outstanding series, quite possibly the best scifi series ever made.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Offspring - Netflix
Fuller House - Netflix
Travellers - Netflix

I watched at least 4-5 episodes of Offspring on Sat., up to Season 4, the entire run of Fuller House Season 2 on Sunday (half hour shows are much easier to binge in their entirety on Netflix), and 8 episodes of Travellers on Monday (which I am obviously really enjoying, as I spent most of yesterday watching). I had a nasty cold on Christmas, so it was a great excuse for me to sit back and rack up some major data usage on my Comcast account.

I may binge through The OA this New Years weekend.

Nashville -- Finished season 4 on Hulu just in time for the new season on CMT. Had 8 episodes that I plowed through in 2 days.
