Just saw first ep of BrainDead. Love Winstead. Cuter and cuter every time I see her. Good stuff.

Gritty Cop thriller about a veteran LAPD detective. Titus Welliver is the lead. It's serialized, not case of the week. Based on a series of books.

I think it's awesome. Not your typical cop show. It's an R rated cable show.

Only 2 seasons (20 episodes) have aired. Season 3 airs sometime this Spring. You could easily watch all 20 episodes over a week or a few days depending on how fast you watch.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

I watched Longmire Season 5 and The Magicians Season 1 while I was off the week after Christmas. I liked The Magicians and didn't like the latest season of Longmire.....

On to Season 4 of Breaking Bad.

Half Measures and Full Measure are soooo good! Box Cutter doesn't disappoint for a season return, either.

The Expanse, Season 1. (Included with Prime) I guess not many here thought much of this but I really liked it.

I think so too, just not here. It got comments like "slow", "dull", "tedious" etc. It seemed a couple people liked it but the majority did not. It was slow out of the gate but really grew on me after a few episodes. Maybe it is easier to binge than watch week to week. Some shows with intricate plots are like that. I don't retain important details if to much time passes between episodes.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Search Party - Impeccably well made and flawlessly cast, but I can definitely see it as off putting to a lot of people as it plays off a lot of millennial stereotypes and awkwardness. But as horrible as all these characters come off intially, they're entertaining, and the nonstop flow of guest actors, from Rosie Perez, Ron Livingston, Parker Posey, Michael Showalter, etc; is pretty great

Re: Last Show You Binged?

My son got me S1 of Blindspot on BR for Christmas. I had started watching and enjoyed it but lost interest during the hiatus. So I started with S1 ep1 last night. Enjoyed the episode and will follow through with the rest of the season. The problem is he keeps wanting me to follow these shows and something has to give at some point. He already has me on Blacklist and The Americans plus the dozen other weekly shows we follow. Too much TV, not enough time.

Was binging on Man in the High Castle S2, but stopped with one episode left a few days ago. Just not ready to be done with it yet, I guess.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Wrapped up Justified season 6. Good show. Funny how they filmed a lot of it in Pasadena, CA. I know many of the streets that they used as Kentucky replacements.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

I caught TBS's People of Earth. A mildly funny sitcom helped out a great deal by its very likable, lead character Ozzie. It vaguely reminded me of a serialized Parks & Recreation about aliens visiting Earth.

It's apparently coming back for a second season in 2017.
