Broadchurch. It was kind of like Twin Peaks without the humor, quirkiness, supernatural elements.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Currently binging Code Black, which is currently airing on CBS. Watched the Pilot, but let 10 episodes build up. It's not bad, but it's a pretty by the numbers medical drama. Nothing soapy though. The stories have stayed pretty focused to what's going on in the hospital without the personal lives drama. Marcia Gay Harden has been pretty good as the lead.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Finished off episodes 7-10 of The Man in the High Castle this morning. An interesting turn of events there at the end. Bring on Season 2.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Finished the last couple episodes and the documentary of band Of Brothers. No matter how many times I see it, I still get choked up at the end.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

Finished the last 8 episodes of You're the Worst's second season. That was some difficult TV to get through.

Also as I mentioned earlier, binged and finished Code Black's last 10 episodes.

Surprisingly Code Black really grew on me. I know the medical drama is a pretty tired genre, but I actually found the chaos and frenetic nature of the show dealing with the overload of ER patients quite compelling.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

I recently breezed through Season 01 of Fargo (second viewing) in three days after Season 02 finished up.

I also just watched the first season of Master of None in two days. Great show.

Tonight:

Major Crimes (TNT): Last 6 episodes going into the Holiday break.

Can't believe there's still 5 more episodes left to air this season. A 23 episode season on TNT is unheard of.

Re: Last Show You Binged?

The Astronaut Wives Club, which had been sitting on my DVR since summer. It was very good, and I'm a sucker for anything about the Mercury/Gemini/Apollo era of NASA. The show did a great job with such a large ensemble cast.

Making of a Murderer, the Netflix original documentary series. Interesting and frustrating and depressing.

Last binge watch of the night:

Unforgettable (A&E): watched the last 4 episodes that aired tonight

Still can't believe this show survived getting cancelled twice.

Season 3 is excellent so far. Not everyone here liked season 2 and struggled to get through it (some bailed on it) If you can get through season 2, you're in for a treat with this new season. However, you have a long way to go. 8 episodes have already aired and by the time you catch it, the season may be 3/4 to 80% over.

Z Nation - last 4 episodes of season 2

Jeez louise, this weekend and last gave me a chance to catch up on a ton of backloged tivoed shows and movies. I have no regrets that I spent most of my time-off watching TV.

I still have a handful of shows to catch up on, but I am amazed that I hit as many shows as I did.
