Re: Last Show You Binged?
I rewatched all 5 seasons of Chuck pretty quickly late this summer. Then I ran through the 2 seasons of Longmire that were available not too much slower when I'd finished Chuck.

I don't think you have to worry about TWD. Season 5 won't go up until the fall (it's only midway through the season now.

Binge-watched all of Walking Dead over the past month. Caught up for February, now.
I finished school for the semester so I need to find something else to watch over the next month.

Fringe
I watched the complete series as it aired, but I had forgotten how good it is. Originally I didn't like the first half dozen episodes, but am loving them now. The story seemed incoherent upon airing and now I can see the big picture and arc clearly. Great storytelling.

After avoiding it for years (I've never been a fan of Chuck Lorre comedies), I've finally started watching THE BIG BANG THEORY...I have the first 8 seasons on Blu-ray, but had never seen it before this week. Have watched the first nine episodes (Disc 1 of Season 1) over the last three days. Going to take me a while to catch up with the current airings, though.

The last week not having any new shows to record helped me a lot getting through some backlog.
Today:
Watched the last 3 episodes of Outlander (Starz) - Doesn't come back until April. Ended on a hell of a cliffhanger.
Trying to knock out the last 6 episodes of Covert Affairs.
Also knocked out the last 2 episodes of The 100
The previous week I knocked out the last 7 episodes of Scandal and How to get away with Murder.

I just finished up the last 3 episodes of Manhattan Love Story. No spoilers, but I do want to mention that you get some closure, so major kudos that the series did not end on a cliffhanger.
I also caught up on the last 3 episodes of Benched...still enjoying the show, and I appreciate that we are getting a new episode next week when everything else is a rerun.

Good to know. I saw Comcast dumped the whole season to on-demand and need to finish it up.

Does Ascension count as a TV mini series or plain Jane TV show, if so, I am at the midpoint of binge watching this show. I like it...bits of Capricorn One and The Truman show (although I saw the twist ending of the first installment a mile away).

Re: Last Show You Binged?
Ascension was actually 6 1-hour episodes (with commercials) So yes, it should count as a 6 episode binge watch.

I rarely binge anything but I devoured Penny Dreadful recently in a couple of days. I was blown away by the execution, I didn't realize it would incorporate so many 19th Century monsters of fame. The writing was also far more literate than standard television fare, which is a great thing in this day of pandering to the lowest common denominator.
One looking for a more sophisticated, literate horror experience should greatly enjoy Penny Dreadful.
