Pimp Draper and strategic Draper makes for a good episode.

Holy shit. I always knew Ginsburg was a little off, but I didn't realize he was full on mentally ill. I feel so bad for him. Mental illness is poorly understood in 2014, let alone 1969.

Glad to see Don finally being Don again at work.
"You're incredible."
"Thank you."
I thought Megan & Don were on the brink? Apparently not...

WTF, Ginsberg? I really liked that character, so I hate to see him go.
Loved Sally snarking all over Betty. Also loved Don's pitch at the end to the cigarette guys.
Have there been 2001 allusions throughout this season? I know last episode was based around it, but I was surprised to see it referenced again (the lip-reading being the most obvious).
Actually, I think the threesome signaled the end of their marriage.

Glad they brought back the Black Canary. You wondered if Dick had anything to do with Anna's family anymore. They always brought out the best in him.
This episode once again proving no matter how shitty a father Don is, he's still a better parent then Betty.
Loved the use of pre-outlaw Waylon Jennings.

I really thought we were headed for a Tate style murder when the very pregnant niece showed up.
Ginsberg got a fitting exit if we don't see him again (and I doubt we will). It was better than him fading away in the background.

I liked the episode, but yeah that Ginsberg turn was a little too sudden and too crazy. Having Harry show up at Megan's party also seemed like a HUGE coincidence. Otherwise it was fun for one of those cost cutting episode (no Joan, Roger, Bert, Pete, Ted or Ken).

Yeah, last time we saw them I thought she said she didn't want to see Don anymore or something. I was kind of surprised how happy she was to hear from him? Megan seems so starved for attention and validation from Don still.

I thought so too at first, but then I remembered Mad Men has been very good about not putting the characters into real events, just showing the as observers via TV and the like. My guess is that we'll see the Tate-LaBianca murders through Megan's (and Don's) eyes, not as a victim, but as someone who lives in the area and fears for her safety.

I'm sure it's probably been mentioned in one of the many sites that recap these shows, but since I haven't seen anyone mention this yet: How weird is it that not only are the two best shows now running back-to-back, but that they both chose this week to explore the hot, controversial topic of "What are the immediate repercussions of giving a strong, intelligent woman a gift box containing a severed bit of male anatomy"?

Poor Ginsberg. I wonder if he started going crazy when the computer got there, or if the computer just pushed him over the edge. The character was a bit of an asshole this season.
Missing a whole bunch of characters this week. I wish they'd get rid of Megan already - just don't care about her shit. Of course with only roughly half a season left, she'll be there till the end I'm sure.

New standard in apathy : If you don't care about a character after she arranges a three-way onscreen, then you really don't care about that character.

I loved Ginesberg, one of my favorite characters. I don't see how he can come back after this. I feel like him going full nutzoid was a little on the quick side, but perhaps I missed earlier cues.
Lots of people were left out of this episode; no Roger, no Joan, no Pete...
