Yes, this show is absolutely hoped to be strong enough ratings wise to justify a second anthology season. Looking at the ratings, I am guessing it will get that second season. FX has to replace Sons of Anarchy and Justified and unlike AMC actually wants to continue a tradition of quality programming. These ratings with these reviews will lead to a renewal.

I don't think this is spoiler worthy...Smallville begins with a meteor shower that serves as explanation for a lot of its freak of the week-ness.

I think Fargo will probably move between several small Minnesota towns in future seasons so it won't all be in one single place.

Fargo is about the hit man company in...Fargo. They can go anywhere with this.

No mention of the "Raising Arizona" shout out? As Malvo is leaving the post office, he tells the janitor "you missed a spot."

I noticed the blackmail letter demands $43,613 (a rather specific number). Lester lives at 613 Willow-something Lane. Now, I know the new police chief is a big believer in coincidence, but what is the significance of 613?

Fargo is where the trucking syndicate that Hess was associated with is located.

The "Rundle Realty" company that Thorton's character works for is currently located somewhere unknown.
