That said the new D&D episode and this one did nothing for me, hope the show doesn't go out on a low note.

Man everything was down last night, even Big Bang Theory (used to get like a 5.4 all the time, now a 4.6). Wonder if that's just standard for this time of year (it's light out until like 8:30 here) or what was going on.

The East Coast and Mid West suffered brutally cold winters this year. This past week was the first time I had seen temperate, sunny conditions since the Fall. No one wants to watch television with that happening. Sitcoms and comedies are mostly viewed as skippable, disposable content. Missing an episode or two doesn't really impact the enjoyment of future episodes.

As for the episode itself, it didn't do much for me.

Spoiler:
Fake Jeff makes a pass at Fake Britta. After she storms off, Fake Jeff makes a random comment saying that he's going to marry her in five years. I remember watching this video years ago and wondered if Community would last long enough to make this come true... and if they would even remember that they made such a prophetic remark on a viral site that virtually no one would have noticed. They did.

I thought this episode was pretty awful. I didn't laugh once and I found the idea of Subway buying Greendale and making it a Subway college more stupid than anything.

Not really.

McDonalds' corporate training center is named Hamburger University. Why wouldn't Subway want a similar training facility for employees?

This was the worst episode of Community I've seen, the caveat being that I bailed on last season a few episodes in.

Good point, I live in Florida, it got down to a crisp 65 last night.

Let's do an episode about the show not having any drama and how boring that is.

But won't that make a boring episode?

Exactly!

I really liked this episode. The first non-gimmicky episode I've enjoyed since Troy left. A lot of really subtle jokes in this one but the one that really got me was when they showed Chang's notepad and it just said 'tomato'. They can still bring it with that character at times.

Looking forward to next week, I'm expecting a Goonies themed finale.

It was the first nice night of the spring. I had no desire to watch TV last night. That could very well be the reason.

Pretty boring episode for me, I hope next week has a good payoff. I really dislike Jeff/Britta together too; I know a few of us commented on it before in an earlier episode, so I really hope it doesn't happen even if it was the reason all of this started.

Hehe. I like how Subway buying the college and the treasure map plot is non-gimmicky. :p

The insurance adjuster stuff was pretty great. As usual, the credit scene was hilarious.

I love this show *this* much.

this show just fills time between nothing and Parks & Rec.

I think Chang singing the Subway jingle was funny, but that was kind of it really.

The Annie twerk was nice though.

Honestly, if the show ends after this season I'd be fine. I'd rather the show go with a bit of dignity left than drag it out to 6 season just to appease some fans.

Not me. I hope they squeeze every little bit of juice out of it until it's nothing more than a dried up husk of crispy skin on brittle bones.

Checking my DVR series recording list this is one of only 2 network comedies I still record. I do also record Brooklyn Nine-Nine, though it is on perilous ground itself (not for being cancelled, for being good enough to bother recording it). If this ends, it may signal the end of a TV era for me.

Oh god no. I changed my mind. I changed me mind!!!

I don't think I've ever loved anything as much as I loved that show, but man, it became a chore to watch after season 10, and I stopped all together after season 22.
