I hope this show comes back for a second season....but I don't know what the second season would be about?
This episode was okay but I didn't really like the kid assassin. I did love it when
I also don't understand at all why

If this wasn't the next to last episode, I'd consider dumping it. More "worst father ever" dialogue and a reprise of the "we can't trust him, sister" dialogue.
And then Miksa goes and does something stupid ... and it appears the Scythe can turn invisible and silent (the elevator snatch and dropping a message into the bunker) ... ugh.

The Scythe killed all those people ... They would have survived if they had known he could be incapacitated by poking him in the nose.
So, "The 500" are NOT 500 immortals ... but rather "immortals" who have reached 500 years old.
I think I am going to have to go back and binge-watch this. Either they have switched gears so many times I have lost track of what the hell is happening OR I was paying attention and it wasn't good enough for me to care.
Like the rest of us, I'm guessing SyFY isn't sure what to make of this show either. If they were, we would have had a second season announcement already.

SyFy sometimes takes their time making renewal decisions. The ratings for Helix are pretty similar to Haven's, so who knows when they will make a decision. But, not surprised a decision hasn't been made yet.

Yeah, the acting from the secondary characters has always been bad in this show, but this episode went even lower.
Other than that I love how they introduce new plots every other episode.
And now...
I actually laughed at that scene.
I thought it was clear, the "immortals" are just people with good health. They don't get old, a lot of the diseases come when you get old. Or you get old slower, like Hatake who's 500 years old. But I guess he looked younger, like the kid from this episode, a couple of hundreds ago.

I stopped watching after ep 5. I have all the shows, so is it really worth my time to catch up? I have she same problem with Psych this season. Lost interest.

I'm not sure ... it might be better binge-watching the episodes. I had a hard time week-to-week. Not sure if I just didn't pay enough attention or couldn't remember details after 7 days.
