[thread derailment!] I watched MF from the start, and enjoyed it quite a bit (though Gloria's voice/accent is annoying, as is Manny, as is Cameron), but I mostly enjoyed it for the main family, who were funny. But after the 3rd or 4th season it got more and more annoying and I gave up on it.
Seeing Manny in that pic above is disturbing, because I just remember him as little butterball, not a big, grown one with a 5 o'clock shadow!
That said [thread railment!] Julie Bowen was hot in Happy Gilmore 24 years ago, and she's still hot now!

Chances are most of you have never heard of her. But, I like Justine Schofield.
She's an Australian Chef and TV personality. I've watched her show numerous times and she has a very down to earth and wholesome image and her food looks really good too.

If you think Daniel Day-Lewis isn't a very good actor, you have an opinion --a totally fucking moronic opinion.
If you think Barbra Streisand isn't much of a singer, you have an opinion --a totally fucking moronic opinion.
Modern Family is one of the most acclaimed sitcoms of the last decade, and is easily the most acclaimed broadcast network sitcom in an era when broadcast network programming is increasingly marginalized by cable and streaming from the category of "quality TV." (That's what the wikipedia link shows, btw.)
So, your description of the show is not totally incorrect. Gloria does have an annoying accent, and there is a gay couple.
I wonder about the kind of person who is willing to both admit complete ignorance about a subject, but also claim to have a valid and worthwhile opinion about that subject. And it is even more perplexing when the subject is a TV show that for many years earned nearly universal acclaim.

The subject matter turned me off for personal reasons, and despite the acclaim that Breaking Bad started receiving I resisted watching it until season 3, and then saw what everybody else saw (that it was fantastic). Still, I was never such a total moron that I ran around dismissing the show as crap (without having watched more than a little bit of a few episodes). And escpecially not in the face of the critical acclaim the show received.

On tonight's episode of Batwoman, I recognized the actress playing the bartender (and possible new love interest for Kate) from her role as one of the vampires in the now-cancelled The Passage. I thought she was really pretty in that in the 'dream' sequences.
