Episode 11 of 22

Returns March 9th. Remember ABC serial dramas are running in 2 cycles this season. A Fall and Spring season for episodes to run non-stop. That's why the long gap.

If you're massively behind, you now have time to catch up.

Shame that Ruby no longer at least guest stars on this show.

ABC should never have screwed with the plan to run "Wonderland" during the long break. I know a lot of people don't like it, but it would have served as the perfect fix for those of us who will miss OUAT.

I've been kind of 'meh' on this season so far, but I liked this episode a lot. Actually, if you cut out the "One Year Later" scene, it would have made a great series finale.

So do you think Rumple is really dead? On this show, death is pretty easily undone. (Welcome back, Blue Fairy!).

As much as I enjoyed the episode (and, yes, it totally works as a series finale if you remove the predictable stinger), if Carlyle is off the show, I'll stop watching. I adore Lana Parrilla but Carlyle's why I started watching the show and stuck with it.

That said
Spoiler:
one of the clips announcing next season did feature Mr. Gold so perhaps he will indeed be back.

From that promo above, it looks like there will be yet another player from Lost joining the show.

Exactly what I was thinking. It felt like a goodbye to the show we had known for the past 2.5 seasons. I guess this episode was OUAT's equivalent to the Lost episode when that series switched to flash-forwards.

This show has lost a huge presence if Gold doesn't come back in some form.

... isn't hook from this world? Didn't he and his brother find Neverland then come back to this world?

In that case, he should be from here... and should have stayed here.

I'm confused.

No. He's from the same fairytale land as the others. It's never stated but I thought Hook's navy was the same as King George's Navy.

Are we sure of that? Given the Darlings were from our world, it's perfectly conceivable that so too was Hook.

They had a flying ship, save Neil on the same journey, Hook and his brother seem like career Navy men (after their father disappear) and Hook doesn't know what a lighter it. Seems reasonable to think they are not from our world. On a side note: Want's up with this show, Wonderland and Lost with fathers? Somebody in the writing/producing/creating really has daddy issues.
