I'll have to disagree about Vinnie; he's just one big Italian stereotype with not much else going on.

I would have to agree, I don't see much comedic potential in Vinnie. The show probably did need a new character, but this isn't it.

Talking about this week, I thought the musical songs were inspired. One of the best musical parodies in years from a Fox cartoon, and that includes The Simpsons.

Vinny got one or two lines. And it was funny that Vinnie turned Stewie into a greaser.

Otherwise, this episode was one of the bad ones. Only a handful of laughs. I did lol that the family replaced Peter already (with an attractive, more supportive guy). And when they made fun of Peter behind his back.

I'll be happy to see a new Stewie/Brian sci-fi episode next week.

Yay. Brian is back.

I was expecting a more sci-fi episode. And I was really expecting something meaner and darker to happen with Vinny. It was a pretty light episode.

And "Home Alone with Competent Robbers" was great.

Yeah, very anticlimactic given the minor shitstorm they created killing off Brian. I expected a better payoff.

I thought Brian would have been gone longer. I think if they had known it was going to cause such an uproar in the first place, he would have remained dead longer.

Not surprised. Pretty obvious it was just a ratings pull, since they're so ready to throw him back in there. Clearly, his death wasn't planned to be more than temporary.
