Yeah, I mean OJ was sentenced to prison; So far it's been pretty funny with Marty coming by: "No, I need to tell you about your future."

^^I think that's why the 2007 disclaimer at the beginning. OJ is in jail now, and Peter had the joke "2 arrests and no convictions..."

I bet they made this episode AFTER OJ was convicted for the robbery/kidnapping and just threw in the disclaimer to make it funnier/work.

Stewie on the roof doing the "interview" was the highlight. Liked the Diablo Cody line about being "jealous" of her tattoo artist.

Stewie on the roof and Brian waking up to the sound of his own farts were the only redeeming factors. Otherwise the episode was terrible.

Re: Family Guy -- "The Juice Is Loose" -- 03/15/09

My parents were in town and I was watching this with them.. There was a line at the beginning with something about Peter killing Peter Jr and "at least he stopped crying". My mom said that it was so tasteless and they gave a good belly laugh.. Later, she asked how they are able to get away with so much language while other shows can't

Totally OT but in Puerto Rico one of the most famous folkloric character is Juan Bobo and in one of his storries he killed his brother pretty much like Peter in last night episode's so I had a good laugh. the story is simple Juan Bobo who is a bit slow (mentally) is left by his mother to take care of his baby brother who starts crying on the hamoc, Juan starts to swing the hamoc faster and faster to calm him and make him stop crying and you can just guess the rest. this was the only funny part to me last night and probably due to the Juan Bobo story.

Episode was weak. BUT I did spray Listerene while gargling watching Stewie on the roof and Brian asking what he was doing there...

Wow. That was bad.

By the time it was over, I just wished they could've found a few more Twitty songs.

I laughed and rewound this a few times:

OJ Simpson: Hi, are you Peter Griffin?
Peter: That's my name, don't put a knife in it.

Tonight's episode of "Family Guy" was recently discovered in Peter Griffin's basement, along with a number of other "lost episodes."

The following events take place in Quahog in March of 2007.

Re: Family Guy -- "The Juice Is Loose" -- 03/15/09

So it sort of sounds like they are riffing on Blair Witch a little with the 'tape found' bit. Frankly, with Family Guy you can't put it past them to reference such random stuff.

So it could be.

1) A true 'lost' episode that was intended to air in 2007.

or

2) A new episode made recently. They got an idea of an OJ Simpson episode but had to find a way to have him in it so they said it was set before his recent trial.

BTW, what is happening with OJ? I remember hearing he was convicted but I don't remember him being sent to prison. Is he just awaiting sentencing?

Isn't 2007 when his book was going to come out? Maybe they held the episode back for legal reasons?

we had to watch all that (well I skipped past it) but then didn't get to actually see the minotaur with Sean Connery's head?

I watched the original Cape Fear a few weeks ago, so the Robert Mitchum in-shape/out-of-shape guy in the '50s had me laughing!

Conway Twitty went way too long - definitely one of the running gags that should be killed.

Brian waking up to his own fart was the only funny part in this episode.

That Conway Twitty song went on so long I actually forgot I was watching Family Guy.

Did anyone else have audio problems? It kept dropping audio every few seconds so I wasn't able to watch it. I'm on Time Warner NYC.

Re: Family Guy -- "The Juice Is Loose" -- 03/15/09

It seems like they're replacing jokes with music too much these days. This episode probably had a good 5-7 minutes worth, and an episode either two or three weeks ago had the same deal. Unlike the somewhat humorous "Diplomatic Immunity" or "The Life of the Wife..." songs from way back, though, these just haven't been working for me. I was able to force a smile a minute and a half into the Conway Twitty song, but there's a limit.

For the heck of it, if this were a "found" episode from said date, the Diablo Cody joke wouldn't be possible. I agreed with those who thought the statement was just put in there because OJ wouldn't be available for golf these days.

That's what I assume as well, so I was expecting the episode to end with Peter convincing O.J. to go to Vegas to reclaim some of his memorabilia...didn't happen though.

Well, this was a recent episode since Adam Goldberg was a writer in this one (that is, this is post-strike).

That's really sad, then.

Family Guy and Bones to do a Crossover!! (No Joke!!)

This sounds freaking hilarious. I'm a fan of Bones and watch Family Guy sporadically. I cannot wait to see this episode.

http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/03/...ones.html#more

Suddenly, the cancer-induced ghost sex Izzie was partaking in on Grey's Anatomy isn't looking so preposterous.

As I previously reported, David Boreanaz' Bones alter ego will suffer a life-threatening health crisis this May that will cause him to hallucinate. Well, I can finally reveal the destination of his head trip: Quahog, Rhode Island. Put another way, Booth is getting a visit from Family Guy's acid-tongued baby villain, Stewie!

No joke!

"This is going to sound odd, but it is a completely believable event given [Booth's condition]," maintains executive producer Stephen Nathan, who declined to reveal the mystery ailment causing his visions. "It's not just a fantasy of ours. There's medical research to back up what's going on with Booth. There are conditions where you can see cartoon characters."

But don't expect to see Emily Deschanel's Brennan sparring with the evil tot: The cartoon cameo will be limited to Boreanaz. "We were never going to have Stewie just walk into the lab and start talking to everybody -- that would be a bald and shameless crossover," Nathan adds with a laugh. "It was always conceived to be a realistic hallucination... one that would lead us to what we wanted to do with Booth and Brennan."

In case you've been living under a rock without Wi-Fi, what they want to do is get the two detectives in bed having sex in the May 14 season finale -- an event Nathan assures me will "not be a hallucination." But first, Brennan will ask Booth to father her child on May 7, a request that leads to Stewie's first of two appearances. "Stewie will be in the sperm donation room with Booth," explains Nathan, who says Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane will sign off on all of Stewie's dialogue. "Whatever Seth wants to do is fine. As far as I'm concerned Stewie can sing!"

What do you think? Is this crossover too silly even for Bones? Or do you have faith that the ends (Booth's diagnosis on May 7) will justify the means (Stewie!) Sound off below!

Wow I'm so there.

One of my favorite Fox crossovers was X-Files and COPS.

Re: Family Guy and Bones to do a Crossover!! (No Joke!!)

Since both shows are produced by FOX, I guess it makes sense from a legal stand point. I'm actually shocked that McFarlane and the Producers of Bones agreed to do this. This could either be one of the funniest episodes of Bones ever or potentially a "Jump the Shark" moment.
