Ok - Peter's Into:

1) (Tv Dinner)
2) Family Ties (rolling on his chair in the bedroom)
3) Charles in Charge? (pizza)
4) (letter)
5) Different Strokes (Peter and his black son opening the doors at the same time)
6) Perfect Strangers (revolving door)
7) Laverne & Shirley (glove on bottle)
8) (grocery Shopping)
9) (Vacum Drapes)
10) Threes Company (falling off of bike on beach)

In case you need to see it:

My Black Son

#3 wasn't Charles in Charge, it was Laverne & Shirley as well. The two opening the door into each other was also Laverne and Shirley

That was a genius bit.

Strong episode.

"There is no Peter, only Zuul."

harrydoyle 01-29-07 10:23 AM

I couldn't get into that episode at all. Actually gave up during a dance number 15 minutes in and went to read. I think I'm about over Family Guy.

When the helicopter was crashing and Brian looked over at Stewie who was dressed like the devil; was that a reference to one of the 'Road...' movies or was it a reference to Trains, Planes, and Automobiles?

Chew 01-29-07 11:57 AM

I thought Trains. Candy as the devil, I believe, happens when they're going down the highway (the wrong way) and are caught between the two trucks.

Ah, yes. Planes, Trains and Automobiles. That cracked me up.

I also laughed at the scene with Mr Herbert(?)buying Chris's shorts. He's always good for a laugh.

And the cool side of the pillow. That creeped me out.

Chip718 01-29-07 04:13 PM

After Peter crashed the car he mentioned something about Matthew Broderick. Does anyone know whats that in reference to?

MrX 01-29-07 04:17 PM

I believe this is it

In 1988, near Enniskillen in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, movie star MATTHEW BRODERICK was driving a rented BMW and inexplicably crossed the center lane, crashing head-on into a Volvo carrying local woman Anna Gallagher and her mother, Margaret Dougherty. Both women were killed. Broderick's passenger, actress Jennifer Grey, escaped with minor injuries, and Broderick ended up in an Irish hospital with a concussion, broken leg and collapsed lung. He was charged with causing death by dangerous driving, but ended up being convicted of the lesser charge of careless driving. He paid a fine of $175. At the time the women's family called the conviction and fine a "travesty of justice," but in 2002 Broderick and the family tried to patch things up.

That happend in 88? Mancow (radio host) was just criticizing Broderick the other day about it. How Timely.

MrX 01-29-07 04:33 PM

The fact that he was dating his sister from Ferris Bueller at the time makes it seem even creepier.

Now if the pillow started kissing or tonguing Peter that would have been FUNNY!

Zien 01-29-07 05:59 PM

Great episode!

(PS--the mouse in the Gene Kelley musical wasn't Jerry, just a talking, cartoon mouse.)

I'm a longtime T&J fan, and this looks like Jerry to me

Yes, and apparently people still :crap: even though they've been warned time and time again by mods not to.

There's "f'ing" in the show? How did I miss that!

IDrinkMolson 01-30-07 01:08 PM

The best was:

Stewie: If you put peanut butter on your body, he'll lick it off.
Stewie: [whispering]Annnnywhhhhere

movieking 01-30-07 01:37 PM

I, too, thought that it was a rerun with the opening.

I had forgotten about the Matthew Broderick incident.

kvrdave 01-30-07 02:24 PM

Pat Robertson and Jerry Fallwell had me rolling.

Brent L 01-31-07 06:23 PM

I laughed so hard at the carjacking that I cried a little. I also loved the Gene Kelly bit also, a lot. I thought it was a great episode.
