DeKnight is a good hire. Glad he's getting a gig post-Spartacus. I think he'll do good work with Daredevil.

Marvel's page says that Goddard wrote episodes 1 and 2, so I assume that's what DeKnight will work from as EP and Showrunner now.

I don't use Netflix, so I never pay attention to these Netflix exclusive shows. These Daredevil/Iron Fist/Luke Cage series have me interested though. Do these Netflix shows ever get released on DVD or Blu-ray?

I'm assuming its a reference to the Batman 66 DVD thread where WB didn't give an official release with the Conan O'Brien announcement.

Cox had a good amount of screen charisma in Stardust, and I remember thinking his portrayal of Ishmael in the recent TV version of Moby Dick was pretty solid, too. Probably wouldn't have picked him out of a lineup for Daredevil, but I'm definitely interested.

Are these Marvel Netflix series just going to be one season? I know they are also doing Iron Fist, Power Man, Jessica Jones, and then have them team up in a Defenders series. Hopefully we get second seasons after that.

I thought he had some health issues? I like him for the role, but hopes he can bulk up and bring some physicality to it.
