^ Yes. They have plenty to choose from. Take a second-stringer if they want to stay away from the A & B hero list. White Tiger. Hellcat. Mockingbird. Union Jack. There's plenty!

I'd love to see Damage Control clean up after a job.

This, there are so many C level/D level super heroes that will never see the big screen.

I thought it was decent, but hardly incredible. I found the the Ward/Skye stuff pointless, and every scene brought the whole thing to a halt. I do hope her actions this week brought her whole divided loyalties storyline to a close.

I did not recognize Graviton as a character from the comics, but find that out has given me a little more hope for the show. I was glad the Avengers references were toned down a little. Referencing the movie endlessly will get old quickly. At least we didn't have to hear about Tahiti.

I can't see this lasting very long.

Ya know, I set the TiVo to record the first season intending to watch it down the line and I goofed and set it to only keep 5 most recent episodes. By the time I was ready to watch, the 5 I had on the DVR were halfway into the season. I was kinda bummed.

Also it's not free on Amazon Prime yet. Dumped Netflix when they split the business and haven't looked back.

Can I hop into season 2 or should I just record season 2 and keep it on the TiVo (got plenty of room to do so) until I get around to season 1?

There was a 1 hour recap special that aired last week called Year one. If you watched that, then I would say you could probably hop in. But since you didn't, then I say watch season 1 first. There is so much great stuff in season 1. The BD is out now, but it's a little pricey at over $40.

Since this isn't an Arrow thread, I'll leave it at this.

The should get the Squadron Supreme on this show. Just to see the internet reaction to Marvel's JLA.

I don't know I kind of like the show. I think it needs time to develop and needs a more serial element but judging from previous shows by the company I would say that they will start working that in.

Plus Skye is really really cute even if they are using makeup to mask her Asian heritage a bit for some reason.

THAT'S what the show was reminding me of. I guess that person earlier in the thread can't say that the show isn't like anything else on tv.....

I'm a huge fan of John Barrowman and know full well he's gay. However, the way the show was written, it was too in your face. I preferred how it was handled in Caprica. The best character in that show was gay and the show made no bones about it. He happened to be gay and it was the most normal thing in the world. With Torchwood they tried to make it a talking point and it came across as silly. Hell, the character's sexuality was handled with more maturity in Doctor Who (and that's a lighthearted kid's show).

Never makes sense to me how people watch shows they hate. I hate The Voice. Know what show I don't watch or comment on? The Voice.

Thought it was a fun episode. Loved the stuff at the beginning with the flying trucks.

As a huge Buffy/Angel fan it pains me to say this, but this is a very bad show. I don't know how much of the blame should go to Joss Whedon.

Mytharcs are where Whedon's shows really shine, imo. Unfortunately, most television excecs prefer the story of the week format to attract new viewers... which is why most network television sucks balls.

Anyway, this episode gives me a glimmer of hope that the show will improve. Skye going undercover and her duplicitous nature was kind of fun to watch play out. It seems they toned down FitzSimmons a bit since the pilot -- a little of that pair go a long way. It was a mistake to give both characters such strong accents only to use them to spout exposition techno babble. Annoying. Of all the characters, I'd prefer more on Melinda's backstory. It's still early days, but keeping her so stoic and monotone with only hints of the ass-kicker that resides under the surface is kind of a drag. The character and the actress deserve better and I hope the writers give us that sooner rather than later. Considering they've lost about a third of their audience since the pilot, the show might be gone before they get a chance.

I've seen better episodes of the A-Team than this turd. I'm giving it one more week and its getting pulled from my DVR.

She's half Chinese. She looks much more Asian at least to me in normal pictures than she does on the show. I find her gorgeous either way/

OK, I think she looks very Asian-y in them, but not on the show.

Yeah, without being told, I would never guess she was half Asian, from any picture that I've seen of her, including the one above (I know you posted 2, but the first one is broken).

EDIT: I saw the first pic by pasting the URL into the browser. It's still broken in the hotlink for some reason. Still wouldn't have guessed it from that pic either.

The episode was probably the best of the three thus far... but that's still damning with faint praise, as Agents of SHIELD is really mediocre. There's room and much potential for improvement... but as many have mentioned, other than Coulson and Ming Wa the characters on this show are as embarrassing cliches.

Although I have to admit, when Coulson and Agent Prettyboy are infiltrating the compound via raft and Coulson is STILL in a full suit and tie, I LOL'ed. Whether or not that was supposed to be intentional comedy, I thought it was the best moment of the episode :)

I'm liking this show a lot. This was the best one so far. Much better than Heroes. I hope they eventually bring in some actual superheroes. Maybe they can get some X-Men to make an appearance
