There is absolutely NO WAY that was an accident, unless a robot shot and directed that scene. In fact, at one point, the camera moves six inches to the right specifically to get the microwave into the frame. Obviously deliberate.

Walking Dead is a great show... It still pales next to Breaking Bad. And I'm saying this as a guy with a room dedicated to Walking Dead.

On an honest note I would be curious to hear from someone who did not like the episode at all.

I think he means it was an accident meaning they came up with the shot on set and that it wasn't in the script.

I've been thinking a lot about episodes 501 and 509 and how they started with the flashforwards to the end of the show.
Had we not seen Walt's going back to his abandoned house for the ricin, or buying the machine gun from Jim Beaver, how would people have reacted to the finale?
I get the sense that the finale pretty much met people's expectations, but what if we never saw those clues?

Yeah I don't get this complaint either. It seems like people complaining about this wanted one final OMG moment or something but honestly it wasn't really needed. The finale did what it needed to do which is provide closure to the story that Gilligan and company were telling. There wasn't a need for something to be thrown in at the last minute just to give fans another moment. The show gave us plenty of those throughout it's run and last night's episode was about finality.

But I always found myself returning to these boards to read folks' thoughts here. A good mix of people that bring insight to shows like Dex (when it was good), Game of Thrones, and most of all Breaking Bad. These threads have kind of been my Talking Bad.
BB consistently respected the viewer. I love Gilligan's comments about concentrating on satisfying his group of writers. What a treat it must have been to be a part of that crew. I hope Gilligan does another unrelated drama soon. I would love to see anything that he commits to. His storytelling, his ability to let moments breathe and develop, is as good as it gets.
Better Call Saul ... high hopes, but I can't see how it can come close to BB.
With that I'll resume lurking. I leave you with my only suggested improvement for the entire series - the last three minutes, what could have made it even better ... a song providing even more of an emotional kick than Badfinger ...
Here we stand
Worlds apart
Hearts broken in two, two, two
Sleepless nights
Losing ground
I'm reaching for you, you, you
Feelin' that it's gone
Can't change your mind
If we can't go on
To survive the tide
Love divides
Someday love will find you
Break those chains that bind you
One night will remind you
How we touched
And went our separate ways
If he ever hurts you
True love won't desert you
You know I still love you
Though we touched
And went our separate ways
Troubled times
Caught between confusions and pain, pain, pain
Distant eyes
Promises we made were in vain
In vain, vain
If you must go
I wish you love
You'll never walk alone
Take care my love
Miss you love
Someday love will find you
Break those chains that bind you
One night will remind you
How we touched
And went our separate ways
If he ever hurts you
True love won't desert you
You know I still love you
Though we touched
And went our separate ways
[Instrumental Interlude]
Oooooooooh
Someday love will find you
Break those chains that bind you
One night will remind you
If he ever hurts you
True love won't desert you
You know I still love you
I still love you,
I really love you,
And if he ever hurts you
True love won't desert you
Nooooooooo
Nooooooooo

I don't care and am not upset at all. I was agreeing with an earlier poster on what a strange poll choice and pointing out that the person who did it has never shown an interest in the show, hence the troll comment.

Kidding. Wasn't a fan of the song choice for the Sopranos finale, though I like the episode a lot as a whole. The song felt like a tone deaf wannabe Tarantino move, a poor choice that damaged the rest of the ep for me.
I don't know what the song should have been, but I bet there were options that would have been a far better fit.
(edit - Badfinger was a fine fit for Felina, I wouldn't change it at all. But it would be hilarious if Cranston and Paul recreated the scene for FunnyOrDie with Separate Ways swelling up as the two nod at each other. /cut to black)

since so many people have mentioned The Shield as having a great finale it got me curious since ive never seen it. Would it be possible to just watch the finale season instead of the entire series or would I be missing too much and have no idea what is going on?

It would be possible but a serious shame. Watch the pilot at least. If after that you can skip to later in the series, go for it. It not only has one of the best finales -- it has one of the biggest gut punching pilots I've ever seen.

I actually think you can skip the first 2-3 seasons (some of those episodes get redundant and interchangeable), but it does build on itself, and it's not even that the final episode is so amazing (I'd say it's penultimate episode is even better), but how the show builds to it's conclusion is what makes it so impacting. Watching the final episode by itself, you'd lose all that, and it wouldn't mean much to you on it's own.
