Finally got around to watching this...well part of it. I bailed after 15 minutes.

I thought the "rolling chair" gag was hilarious, because its exactly the kind of thing Michael's always been best at: physical gags. I remember one episode of "Family Ties", when he jumped into Meredith Baxter's arms because a neighbor was named Johnny Carter.

The 2nd episode was much better. I will stick around.

I dumped Brooklyn Nine-Nine after 2 episodes and I will stick with this.

I think this would be better if it were more of a traditional family sitcom to be honest. I think that's what a lot of people expected from it and as much as I like Michael J. Fox I don't think his style suits NBC's new brand of comedies if you ask me. I'm still sticking with it for a while though.

Did anyone else think Tracy Pollan had plastic surgery?

It's been okay for me. Nothing special, but I've always liked MJF (who doesn't?), and it does have a few laughs. Like when he pretended to talk in his sleep and his wife said, "You don't shake when you're asleep and you don't talk like a ghost."
Unfortunately, I have been watching with the captions because I miss a lot of his dialogue.

I am hard of hearing sometimes but the only trouble I had with his dialogue was the lack of humor
