I really enjoy this show. This does sound like a good one.

Re: Criminal Minds -- "Zoe's Reprise" -- 2/18/09
I liked this episode, but I hated the fact that they revealed who the killer was right away. I would have liked a little more mystery to the case. The premise was really interesting, but I didn't really find the killer intimidating at all.
I thought it was weird that Rossi felt so much guilt for Zoe's murder even though he only knew her less than 5 minutes or so. Rossi has always been all business and has kept away from having any emotional attachment to the victims. This seemed a little out of character for him. Is anyone really annoyed by the way Reid's gun holster is displayed? I'm still waiting for the episode where that will finally bite him in the ass. I recall an episode where some guy said if he's not careful someone will take that gun away from him. Also, is he using the old school 6 shooter gun? |
Re: Criminal Minds -- "Zoe's Reprise" -- 2/18/09
seems like they are doing the killer reveal early when they have name actors playing them. when it's just some random schlub playing the killer's part, they don't really do that.

Criminal Minds 5/20/09
Hadn't been watching last few episodes because Lost had priority, so finally got back to this. And wow, what a great finale. Even felt bad about Lucas's fate. hotch thing at end was a shock, too.

Re: Criminal Minds 5/20/09
Solid ep to end the season. The casting director must have been a 4400 fan. Is there any talk of Gibson leaving the show?

Re: Criminal Minds 5/20/09
Jeebus, how many freaking commercials were there???
|
Re: Criminal Minds 5/20/09
This was a very good finale although the setup the ending to be a little to obvious you knew he was gonna do that. But otherwise good episode.

Saw the finale, but I haven't been watching this year. Was that final scene with Hotch related to something earlier this season? Or was it totally out of the blue?

Synopsis here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1256094/ He offered Hotch a deal, where if Hotch stopped looking for him, he would leave him alone, otherwise, he'd kill him. Or Something like that. I only saw about 5 episodes of this show this year and the one the finale referenced was one of them. |
Re: Criminal Minds 5/20/09
Why did I have the feeling for much of the show that we had wandered into The Hills Have Eyes territory ?

Re: Criminal Minds 5/20/09
Holy shit that was a mindfuck of an episode. Can Hotch really be dead?

Thomas Gibson Leaving Criminal Minds?
The season finale of Criminal Minds left viewers wondering whether one of its leading characters will return on the show in its next season. In the last few months the rumor mills were working overtime with reports of the mess happening on the sets of the popular TV show with a number of writers leaving the show without giving any plausible explanation. It was also reported that one of the leading characters on the show might be leaving it for good, and after the finale episode, viewers seem rather convinced that Thomas Gibson is the one getting the axe. However, Gibson wrote a letter to his fans last month that read: “Hi CM Fans, Thomas here. I just wanted to say that in response to all the conversation on the blog, that I love playing A. Hotchner on Criminal Minds; that we have the best crew, cast, writers, and production staff in the world. I have loved working on the show for four seasons and look forward to many more. I realize that none of this could happen without the support of our fantastic fans. We count ourselves very lucky to have so dedicated and enthusiastic an audience as you. Thanks for watching and we look forward to providing you with great shows for a long time to come. - Thomas Gibson.” In spite of the reassurance from Gibson, fans are concerned that his term with the show might be up because the season finale showed his chances of survival were unlikely. In addition there are reports that a number of contracts on the show, including those of writers and a few leading actors are due to be renewed but may not be given the new lease. CBS said that the show would be back for its fifth season but said nothing about its cast or crew. |
Re: Criminal Minds 5/20/09
I doubt Hotch is dead. It's just your typical major cliffhanger. Remember at the end of season 1 Elle Greenaway was in the same predicament and she ended up only being critically wounded, but psychologically scarred. Maybe they will do the same thing with Aaron? Remember last season when the team's fate was in question when a bomb exploded on one of their vehicles?
Garret Dillahunt is sure making the rounds on the networks. Anyways, it was a really good finale. |
Re: Criminal Minds 5/20/09
Cool episodes. I doubt Hotch is dead. He's pretty much the biggest draw on that show. I can't see them killing him off.

Re: Criminal Minds 5/20/09
BTW, I'm pretty sure this episode is based on the real-life acts of Canadian serial killer and pig farmer Robert Pickton who killed 69 prostitutes and fed their bodies to his pigs:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Pickton FYI, a Vancouver artist will be painting a portrait of each victim (she has completed 49 of the 69 portraits) and will be touring when the collection is complete: http://www.theforgotten.ca |

Very underrated show. This is Part 2 of a cliffhanger from May. Interesting to see C Thomas Howell return as well. |

I just got my mother into the show this summer and she's on Disc 2 of last season. She's got a long way to go to catch up since season 4 was 26 episodes. |
