Criminal Minds -- "The Instincts" -- 11/5/08

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

The case of an abducted child in Las Vegas prompts Reid to have unusual dreams that help him unlock some secrets from his childhood.

Tonight's Reid-themed episode looks really good. I wonder if this episode officially begins A.J. Cook's maternity leave.

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

Prentiss and Todd go undercover to find a serial killer who uses his fine-tuned pickup skills to ensnare women.

Tonight's episode sounds really good. I know this show doesn't get alot of love here, but did anyone watch last week's episode with Jason Alexander aka George Costanza as the serial killer? I thought that was a fantastic episode, even though Alexander was a little cartoonish and over the top. His scenes with Mantegna in the interrogation room were great.

chrisih8u 11-26-08 10:29 AM

Yeah last week was great. I don't think Criminal Minds is the best show on tv, but it's one of the most consistent. They rarely have a bad/boring show. Very dependable.

DJariya 11-26-08 01:06 PM

Consistent is definitely a good work to describe Criminal Minds.

Personally I am looking forward to tonight and seeing more Prentiss and the new agent in action.

JTH182 11-26-08 11:28 PM

Hahaha, I loved the take on VH1's "Mystery." Having watched The Pickup Artist before I thought that was kind of funny!

Ranger 11-26-08 11:58 PM

I agree. Really good episode.

aintnosin 11-27-08 03:34 AM

And Reid get's a little. :D

It has been very consistent. The only time I remember it being particularly lame was the two parter where the first part was after the Super Bowl.

marty888 11-27-08 08:00 AM

Another  for this episode and the series in general. Nice to see Reid actually smile about something.

XavierMike 11-27-08 08:27 AM

Another really solid episode.

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

A young woman disappears from her affluent Atlanta neighborhood, and the team believes someone in the community is responsible and may have had an accomplice. William Harris: Michael Boatman. Andrea Harris: Dana Davis.

This is the 1st new Criminal Minds episode of the new year. I also can't seem to find a newer cast photo with Paget Brewster's new hairstyle even though I hate it.

one of my least favorite episodes of the series, ever.

to be the worst of a great series is still not bad. i love this show. i just felt liek this one wasn't up to their own standards.

my wife doesnt like watching this before she goes to bed and this one she had no problem with. i never felt immersed in it.

I wasn't paying very good attention but unless there was some other song I didn't notice, it was "Here Comes My Girl" by Tom Petty.

Yeah, this was definitely one of the weakest eps in this show's history. It had a very strange vibe.

What I like about this show is that the criminal characters are usually very believable; their personalities are consistent with their crimes. The two "unsubs" in this ep were totally unbelievable. It seems to me that if they were true sociopaths, they wouldn't give a damn whether a daughter was violated/killed let alone sacrificing their freedom in order to protect her. And the black guy just came across as way too smarmy.

Cool Guest star alert!! Michael Biehn (Kyle Reese from Terminator) and Cybill Shepherd.

Looking for a 'Criminal Minds' episode

So, I've searched Hulu, Youtube & CBS and I don't seem to be having any luck in finding full episodes of 'Criminal Minds'.

I'm just looking for the Season 4 premiere titled 'Mayhem'. My wife and I finished Season 3 last night and it ended on a cliffhanger with a van been blown up, leaving you to believe a member of the BAU may have been victim.

Any help, please?

Re: Looking for a 'Criminal Minds' episode

Criminal Minds unfortunately is not available for legal streaming or downloads anywhere. If you want to watch that episode/season 4, your going to have to wait for a re-run or the DVD release.

Thanks DJariya - I thought as much

Wow, that one was literally just on last week.

On a total unrelated note, does anyone remember the ex-Pirate Jason Bay? Man, he was good for the organization.

;)

Cybill Shepard! I didn't recognize her. Great to see Michael Biehn again.
